Not happy with the massage. I paid for a 90 minute massage from 10-11:30 and spent the first 30 minutes filling out paperwork I already did online and waiting for them to prepare only to be massaged for 60 minutes. The massage therapist didn’t focus on the areas I asked for and seemed like she had no experience what so ever and instead of massaging me she just scrapped my skin with some rectangular piece of plastic for the majority of the time I was there. I have no idea what that was, all I know is that was certainly no massage more like being skinned alive. On top of that she talked through the entire session and even turned off the zen music so she didn’t have to talk over it without even asking. That was a torture service not at all what I paid for and would absolutely like a refund for whatever they call what they do there. I’m still completely shocked over this. I get massages all the time and this was anything but. The worst massage experience I’ve ever had and most certainly will never return. I have no idea how this place could ever recieve a single decent review. Not sure how you think communicating was what went wrong when I was very specific as to what I wanted her to focus on or how I was charged for 90 minutes and received less than 60. How about you refund my session where your massage therapist thought it was therapy for her to tell me her life story while I was being assaulted by her instead of massaged. I don’t think she used her hands for more than 10 minutes before she spent the rest of the time scrapping my skin off with some black tool which I never asked for. Single worst massage experience ever.

I can not say enough about Kim. She is the best….Very professional! She goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. I have circulation issues in my lower limbs and she always makes sure to add a little extra attention.If anyone asks she is always my recommendation!

Positive: Communication, Professionalism, QualitySince I found Ground Zen two years ago, it’s never been a consideration to go anywhere else. I have been getting massage therapy for over 20 years and Rachel is one of the best therapists I have ever had. I have chronic back and neck pain due to scoliosis and my desk job. Rachel listens to what I need each time and focuses on the areas that hurt me the most. The best sleep I ever get is the night after a massage.One time, I threw out my lower back and got in to see Rachel within a few days. She focused almost the whole time on my lower back and by the next morning, I was virtually back to normal! Now I may have to wait a bit longer to get in to see her, but that is to be expected with a good massage therapist.The vibe at Ground Zen is warm and the place is very clean. I am/was very insecure about my body & didn’t want anything or anybody touching it. I decided to step out of my comfort zone & book a massage here. After looking at a few reviews, I was sold. I decided to book a 30 minute session with Ms. Kim & I will say that it was definitely worth it. She makes you feel comfortable with her conversation & tender care that she puts into the massage. I had so tightness & soreness in my back & shoulders that are no longer there. There was a point in time that I thought that I was gonna have to live with the soreness forever but this massage changed my entire perspective. I definitely recommend this place for anybody wanting a massage & I’ll definitely be back.
