I’ve been to this one a couple times and every time has been a good experience. Staff are friendly and skilled. They have been busy every time I’ve been, so I suggest checking in online, to save you time…but they can check you in and text you when they are ready for you.

Worst haircut I’ve ever gotten. My stylist wasn’t paying attention when she buzzed off half my beard when trimming my sideburns. And when I came home to wash my hair(and to fix my beard), literal CLUMPS of hair came off my head. She didn’t even bother cleaning what she had cut off. Never coming here again. Approach with caution.

I checked in online and it said there was a wait of 109 minutes. We got there and checked in, at the same time a woman and her son came in and they asked them if they had checked in online. The woman said no and she was told it would be over an hour wait. The woman said that was ok, she would leave put their name in, leave for a bit an come back. After 2 hours, I asked where were on the list. The woman I asked had a bit of an attitude, but she looked it up and told me we were 4th on the list. They had 5 stylists working, so I figured it wouldn’t be much longer. 20 minutes later they had called 6 people, and still not called us. One of the 6 called was the son of the woman who had walked in earlier and had not checked in online, so I knew we should have been up before them. I got up again and asked another woman, who also had an attitude, and she said there were still people ahead of me and that when I was told there only 4 that people who had checked in online must have shown up in between. We walked out. I will not be back to this location. Terrible service and terrible attitudes.

On Tuesday’s they offer a reduced rate for seniors and I take advantageof it as I live on Social Security and money gets tight. I have had very short hair for many years , so it is not a difficult cut for the girls to do. They are easy to deal with, easy to go on the app amd book your appointment, it was easy as a walk-in (you might have a little bit of a wait but not long). And they do a great job. Nice and friendly staff too. They care, unlike most franchisees, this place has very nice and knowledgeable stylists.

We seem to have an issue with this location often. Check in ahead online was a 30 min wait. By the time we arrived my check in stated it should be 1 min remaining on my wait. When checking in in person, Erica stated there were 3 people ahead of us. So much for 1 min remaining on my wait. I complained about that to my husband, and she rudely stated that it fluctuates based on if people go on break. It happens at this location almost every time!. I did not like the way she spoke to me. She was going to be our stylist, which I refused and opted to wait. She continued to speak to other customers in the same rude tone. When a stylist was free, I informed her(missed her name) of how I wanted my son’s hair. She said “well let me show you what’s wrong with that”. I decided to leave. I wasted my time. We typically get my sons hair cut every 3 weeks, the exact same way for over 3 years! I know what I like and that it is possible. The McHenry location never has an issue with it. I’m extremely disappointed in this location. Will not be back.

I signed in and was told it’s a 40 minute wait. I waited outside for an hour, then walked in and asked how much longer, and got told 40 more minutes. They’re understandably busy, but some common courtesy in letting me know things were taking over twice as long as expected would’ve been nice before I wasted an hour waiting.
