I’ve been coming here for over a year and I have extremely long hair, every time I come in it’s in the middle of my butt. All the girls who have done my hair have been amazing, I will tell them how many inches I want cut and they do exactly that. Today I came in to cut more than I usually do and my girl got a comb with measurements on it to make she she cut exactly four inches off! For anyone looking to go here please wash or wet your hair before coming in and detangle it so the hairstylist can get straight to work, it makes everyone’s lives easier. Also please please tip your hairstylist well! I used to pay $50-$65 when I was trying out different salons because they said my hair was longer so it’s more expensive to cut a couple inches off, which I never understood, and I get the same cut here as I did there for $19!!! So please tip well because anywhere else you go will be more expensive for the same quality!

Went to Great clips on 38th avenue Myrtle Beach yesterday to get my haircut. I tell the hairdresser just thin up my hair in the back. I showed her what I want done told her I did not want to see my scalp. She started cutting my hair and the next thing I know she was cutting my hair all over she gapped it up so bad that one side you can see my scalp. I looked at the back the top part looked okay but when I got home and look at the back on both sides to see where they were neither one cut the same one side you could see my scalp through it the other side was cut different. The worst haircut I’ve ever got.

Store hours do not match hours on Google business page. Google makes it easy to update these hours BUT this location would rather waste one’s time, energy and gas. I recommend finding a place that is serious about the customer experience/service. Haircut

Went today on 38th Ave in Myrtle Beach SC. I got a man, unfortunately I did not get his name. I picked a photo from one of the Great Clip hair style books that I wanted. This man didn’t even look at it. Okay I’ll give home benefit of the doubt he glanced. That should’ve been my first clue. He ends up shaving my the back of my head

Awake at this hour 5am, crying and just feeling horrible about the haircut I got the day before. I wasn’t about to post a review especially since the stylist Sheila seemed nice and friendly but I’m just so upset right now. We are about to go to Disney World this weekend on a Babymoon and I will have to hide my hair and not take many pictures as l planned. Whacked, butchered, uneven – that was how I described to my husband, and I was surprised now reading other negative reviews that this was how others have described theirs too after getting their haircuts here. Her skills are way below what I expected considering her age, I thought she was more experienced than that. I am so baffled right now, if it’s not lack of skills, are there other socio factors that come into play in her decision to butcher my hair?? I was already feeling weird about how my hair looked after the haircut as it was way much shorter than I requested but thought maybe it just needed a bit of styling. I tried that when I got back to our hotel and I discovered there was one part at the front that was simply longer, sticking out. There was no layering at all which i suspected though she said there was. And this after I showed her some pictures as examples on my phone. I will have to initiate a chargeback and even that is not going to be close in any way to compensate for what I am losing in valuable memories I would have been able to capture as photos with my family for this special ocassion. I can’t even get it fixed by another more experienced, professional hairstylist because it’s just too short, I can only pray it grows out fast to a point long enough to rescue it. Plus I don’t really know how I will take my weekly pictures with my growing bump anymore. Very sad, disappointed and angry.
