I was really skeptical about going here. I had really, really, really bad experience here 2 years ago. But I was in a mood and wanted to cut my hair and everywhere else was booked. Can I tell you, I’m so grateful they were! I now have the best new hair stylist ever!! Angela is the best! She’s done my daughter’s, son’s and my hair. And we all look amazing. No one else will ever touch my hair! UPDATE!! I’ve been back here looking for Angela and she hasn’t been here. On 8/25/2021 my daughter had cuts done by Josh. My hair was scrunched at the time so I couldn’t see the cut. But the following morning when I brushed my hair out, I cried!! It reminded me of the first horrible experience I had at this place!! Thankfully, I found Angela and I will be going back to her, along with my all of my children and my mother in law!! NEVER again will I be going back to this place!!!

Rude staff. The woman talked (and looked) at the customer in the next chair more than my son. She basically insulted him too. Twice. Also, Why check in when you still have to wait? C+ haircut. Awful awful awful. Never again. Kids’ cuts

I went here today for the first time and asked for a length of an inch left on top of my head and a half inch on the sides and the top is not even close to an inch. The lady shaved my head and MAYBE left a quarter inch around my whole head. Not satisfied at all. Never going back. Haircut

Took identical twins in for haircuts. One son had a good experience and his hair looked nice. Then my other son went back. The stylist was done in just half the time as the first. My son nearly cried from how hard she pressed the clippers. The cut was crooked with divets taken out of what hair he had left from being shaved nearly bald. I had to take him to Hair Cuttery to at least get it blended and straightened.

My wife and I decided to get our hair cut while we were on vacation in Mechanicsburg, PA. She used Great Clips before and thought they were good so we decided to try them. While the barber Jonathan was cutting my hair, he told me I had some irritation that he “knew what was the cause,” he claimed that it looked like bed bug bites and he said quietly to my wife that maybe it was scabies and she thought possibly he meant lice which was just ridiculous to think that because we don’t have that type of problem at home. We thought maybe at the hotel but they checked our room and bed and never found any type of infestation to suggest bed bugs. Plus we researched signs and symptoms of bed bugs and lice online and we never presented with the typical signs of either like body sores or bites. While at the hair salon my head did have some flakiness because it was dry and I normally have some type of dandruff during the winter months that lingers into spring but to suggest I had some type of bites on my head just seemed really odd. He talked me into buying over $125 worth of products and suggested I get my wife some products too to treat whatever problem he thought I had going on and to make sure my wife’s head/hair would be okay too. He was openly talking about the commission he was going to get from the sale because he charged products for me and my wife on his own bill and not in conjunction with the woman cutting my wife’s hair. Still concerned about my head condition that Jonathan thought he had diagnosed correctly I used a Teladoc dermatologist to see what was going on. Diagnosis: Seborrheic Dermatitis (dandruff of the scalp) which presents with flakiness and wart-like growths on the skin (non-cancerous). My wife and I ended our vacation early to get the medicated shampoo ($5 copay) to treat my head condition, which cleared up after 3 washes and not with any of the product Jonathan claimed that would treat my head condition. I just can’t believe he treated me like that and scared me and my wife so bad after our visit; I know I was a bit emotional after the visit. I tried contacting the salon to talk to someone about this but no manager or store owner calls me back. NEVER GOING TO A GREAT CLIPS AGAIN! Hairstylists/Barbers cut hair, they are not trained to diagnose medical conditions.

Now, there are different people everytime I’m there and the stylist can’t even give you more than 10 minutes because they are so shorthanded and overworked. They don’t listen to a single thing you ask and basically just give you the haircut THEY want to give you. Let me say I’m not picky when it comes to haircuts but I’m good at explaining what I want. They don’t listen to a single thing you ask and basically just give you the haircut THEY want to give you. Let me say I’m not picky when it comes to haircuts but I’m good at explaining what I want.
