I went to get my eyebrows cleaned up. I had very thick eyebrows with a great shape and told the woman I would like to keep the shape. She completely ruined my shape and thickness. My eyebrows are now completely different shapes and sizes. When I told her they are different shapes and way too thin she said “no it’s good, $10.” I would recommend staying as far away from this place as possible. I will never be going back.

I have been a regular customer at this salon since they opened in September 2010. The owner, Lee, is one of the kindest, most accommodating business owners I have ever met. The pedicure spas and wax rooms are clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and do a great job. I am frankly shocked by some of the prior reviews about the owner being nasty or the staff demanding tips. As a weekly/every other weekly customer for almost 7 years, I have never, ever witnessed this. Although Lee treats her staff very well, she would not tolerate that type of behavior from her staff. And I know for a fact (because I also speak Chinese and have overheard her make notes) that when customers stiff the employees on tips, she will make up for it herself, which obviates the need for the employees to demand tips.

I’m super picky and usually never feel satisfied by salons. I was pleasantly surprised by their service the first time. Excellent work and wonderful customer service. They took me right away without an appointment and were very clean and friendly.

Stopped in to ask the price of a powder gel manicure. The older man did not seem to understand English deferred to a lady. I showed her my French manicure and she quoted me $30 if organic and $28 if not. When I came on a Saturday morning, it was busy, and since I didn’t have an appointment, I didn’t mind waiting. The same older man seemed to be in charge and was very brusque and unfriendly. Finally I was shown to a table and a nice young man started taking off the old polish. The older man, without a word to me, pulled him away to do a manicure. I was still sitting there when he finished and then was assigned do a mani-pedi on a woman who had just walked in without an appointment. When I was finally taken by another manicurist, she did an adequate job, but with very little nail preparation. She was not rude, but she certainly was not friendly. Then I was charged $45. The staff pays lip service to the clients and it seems like a factory. I will never go back.

Golden Nails has always been a go to nail salon for me. All the workers are patient and do the best job. The owner is very understanding with everything and does the best she can to please her customers. I give them a 10/10 and will highly recommend to anyone asking for a good nail place.

I’ve been going to this place for massages for years. Its $35/hr and whoever I get has always been good. They also do eyelashes, mani’s and pedi’s that are also good. The massage area is very quiet, dark and with low meditation type music. My only complaint is that it’s too cold in there…

The nail technicians were okay, but an experience today has me swearing not to go back and stick with my regular nail salon. A woman came in to get her nails done, but Spanish was her native language and she was having trouble communicating with the receptionist/nail tech. Immediately the nail tech started getting frustrated over the customer’s inability to communicate in English with her, and very VERY rudely told her “I don’t speak Spanish. Speak English!” It was appalling how belittling this nail tech was, and rather than trying to understand her customer, she just continued to berate her. This atmosphere is stressful, unsanitary, and for all ‘nail’ purposes– overpriced for an uneven fill-in. Pretty sure I was overcharged. Wouldn’t come here again.

I paid $50 for a gel mani pedi that I had to redo myself. My tips were not fully removed, my nails were chipped and misshaped before even leaving the salon. Highly recommend staying away from this salon.
