Angela has been cutting my hair for 22 years. She’s cut the hair of every boyfriend I’ve ever had. Enough said. Edit: Sadly, it seems like the location will be closing for good in late November. Angela will be moving to Sophistications and I’m sure most of the other stylists are moving to new locations (though I’m not sure where). Please support them in their future endeavors, the staff is talented and hardworking. Thanks for all the memories, Golden Shears.

Carrie was lovely and although she was on a time crunch before her next appointment, she fit me in and took her time and gave me a fashionable cut without ever feeling rushed. The other ladies in the salon were having a ball and the spirits amongst the coworkers were excellent and fun, they even didn’t want to leave at the end of the work day! 5

I had to find a new hairdresser and read the Google reviews about Golden Shears. I was not disappointed. I called and spoke with Ed who suggested a free consultation. I made an appointment for a week later and was extremely happy with the results. For foil highlights the price is more than reasonable. The salon is lively and the staff are friendly and unattruasive. I made a second appointment the same day and look forward to this new client relationship.

The experience was wonderful starting with my last minute call for an appointment. The woman was helpful & understanding. Ed was able to fit us in. He gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. I’ve had good cuts & bad blow-outs after, but but with Ed! I felt like going out for a night on the town when he was done. He also put a beautiful braid in my niece’s hair and made her feel like a princess. I will be back to see Ed for sure. The salon was extremely clean & they were sanitizing every space after they used it. I felt good knowing they are taking everything seriously at this crazy time. Yesterday, my niece & I went to Golden Shears to get our hair done for our girl’s day. The experience was wonderful starting with my last minute call for an appointment. The woman was helpful & understanding. Ed was able to fit us in. He gave me the best haircut I’ve had in a long time. I’ve had good cuts & bad blow-outs after, but but with Ed! I always get a great haircut here. Most of the time, I ask for Carrie. She’s wonderful, and skilled, and patient with my 89 yr old Mom, too. Today, Ed cut my hair. He was very nice, and he also used a new kind of scissors that made my cut look AMAZING! THANK YOU, Golden Shears!

They are very patient and finally got a male barber that can do fades, edge ups,3 etc he doesn’t just use scissors. I had gone a few years ago and when I asked for a fade they told me they could only do scissor cuts and that my hair was too short. Today was a complete 180 the barber was able to do a fade and it was good. Happy customer when my main barber over First stop barbershop isn’t around
