I ordered my sauna thru wayfair, arrived on time, NO DAMAGE on the box. Had to unbox it outside and bring it in piece by piece. When my friend and I removed the protection over the roof part the wood was broken off. I emailed wayfair and they told me to contact the manufacturer which I did and the manufacturer Karla Torres told me they can’t replace it because it’s shipping damage.

I purchased the item through my Costco member ship. Costco company was let down by their services. Golden design has serious retail issues. Costco had emailed me saying the golden design company was trying to reach me to “verify” the shipment. The email, phone number provided on behalf of Costco were up to date and in service. Golden designs had poor communication skills, with their company emails appearing in junk, and false claims of a working phone number not working. It seems as if my last name affected their company standards. After Costco went above and beyond to connect me to golden design the service was rude on golden design end. They claimed to have reached out by phone number but never did. Golden design seems to intentionally prevent the delivery process. I received a call after that incident to schedule a face to face delivery at my residents. Golden design and I decided Tuesday as a delivery to sign. I received it earlier then the communicated delver date by 5 days , I can’t complain on that . But almost as if they intentionally wanted to prevent the package sign off to have the chance to say “you were not home, sorry” poor communication on golden design inc. end. I bet y’all don’t have a minority in y’all’s office lol. Costco should definitely reconsider golden design inc. products to its members.

My sauna has been working perfectly for six years. Last night it stopped working. I called customer services and her representative Paola CS asked me couple of questions and requested some pictures over the phone. I responded and she came back with a conclusion to replace the whole power block that is $345. Then I’ve just replaced the fuse for $9 dollars and it started working again. Unprofessional work!

If you’re looking and doing your research on different types of saunas as there is so many on the market please stay away from this brand or their sister brand Dynamic Saunas. They also sell this brand at Costco and wayfair. If you want a sauna for its health benefits/detox please please please do your research and buy elsewhere. There is VOC present on the painted wood in the sauna.(heat+VOC=toxic) they claim it’s within save Levels but other brands have ZERO VOCs. When I go into a sauna I want to make sure it’s 100% safe. (Clear light and Radiant saunas have 0 VOCs.)The “near zero” emf is actually 1-3 millagaus the brands I mentioned earlier have much less EMF. I really wanted the emf/voc reports before I would make the purchase but I kinda felt coerced into buying a sauna when I was told their Black Friday sale was going to end. I did call to try and get the emf/voc over the phone but they had no idea what I was talking about. I had to email and wait for reports. I haven’t received the sauna and they want to keep $300 of my hard earned money. I talked to a representative and he was very unprofessional— mocking me… I’ve never felt more humiliated…. PLEASE look into better options as their products and costumer service is disgusting.

I’ve only had my sauna for 1 week but so far a great experience, especially with customer service. I bought one of the lower end saunas online then the very next day, not only did I see it for much less but the compnay I bought from had terrible reviews. I was told that I could cancel, no problem so I did and bought it from a better company. Well, the online company didn’t cancel and was giving me the runaround. Golden Designs saw my cancellation request and told me not to worry. anyone should be able to cancel an order in less than 24 hours of purchase. Then the sauna arrived and CS was very helpful again with all my questions about assemby and registration. I am very happy I bought from such a responsible company. I feel valued as a customer.

Purchased the Lugano infrared sauna from them thru Costco. The customer service from Golden Design is exceptional. The sauna is wonderful and just as advertised. Any reviews that I have read with complaints are simply from individuals that haven’t read the instructional material. This sauna took less than 1/2 hour to put together….but I read the instructions online before delivery and also had the electric taken care of ahead of time as well.

I purchased a small 1-2 person sauna from them, it was a fantastic experience! The sauna is small enough (6 feet tall by 4 feet wide) to fit in my living room and it works great. You can play music through bluetooth, change the sauna light color and it even comes with a towel rack. This was possibly the best money that I’ve ever spent! Thanks Golden Designs!
