I’ve coming to glossy nails for months now but won’t be returning after this. I’m flying out Thursday to go to a wedding and I need to have a French pedicure for it. I asked for a French pedicure and she said said yes and shook her head that she could do it. When she was done and brought me to the drying station I asked if she would add the white tip, I didn’t want just pink nails, I alsed for a french pedicure. She said no because she already put the top coat on and would have to redo my whole pedi. So basically I paid for something I didn’t want and now have to find a place to get me in last minute and redo my pedicure for more money. This is isn’t right. So irritated. I won’t be back. Now I understand why Glossy Nails loses a lot of business to PT Nails. I should have listened to everyone else and just went up there from the start.

I’ve been here a couple times and have had great experiences but my last experience was not good (hence the 3 stars). I came in last minute to get a pedicure and they were kind enough to squeeze me in to at least get my toes polished. You see, I’m 34 weeks pregnant and it’s getting difficult to reach those bad boys. The technician was really nice and sweet but they charged me $20 just to get my nails painted! No massage, no water soaking, no cuticles. Literally painted my toes and charged me $20. She was with me for maybe 10 minutes then instantly went and helped another client. That hit hard and I think the girl who was helping me was as surprised with the price as I was. She seemed taken back when she asked the other lady how much to charge. Not cool. I felt taken advantage of.

I couldn’t have been more disappointed with how my nails turned out. I know I should have spoke up in the moment, but honestly didn’t have the energy to stick around for them to be fixed. My dip set was rushed and the end product was very bumpy and the tips had a weird angle. I asked the gentleman who was doing the service how long he had been doing nails and he said 6 years. Unfortunate that it was believed this was quality work.
