I love getting my nails done and when I heard the Gloss nail salon was open in Lakeland I rushed to go there. My experience was a 2 star because the lady who did my service seemed very rushed leading to getting several cuts during my pedicure and manicure that even resulted in me bleeding. I was surprised that after seeing me bleed she continued to use the same polish that touched my blood and wiped off my bloody finger with the towel that they lay under your hands. To me that is a big red flag. Not only a lack of care but also not very sanitary. I am grateful that after informing the manager I was given a 10% discount. That is where the 2 stars are coming from. I am just worried this has happened and will continue to happen to others.

First time visiting this location. Went on a Sunday as a walk-in for two pedicures with my partner. Both of us got the volcano cbd pedicure and it was great, much better experience than our other Gloss experience in a different area. Facility looked brand new and very clean.

I was looking forward to getting a pedicure, relaxing and having a good drink. 1st the lady rushed me to select a polish. Then when gave me the drink menu she didn’t know what a margaritas was or she acted like she didn’t. When she returned with the drink it was only the margaritas mix without the tequila. I asked her it she could add the tequila. She returned with the lady from the front desk saying it did have tequila in it. If you drink you know the difference because you can taste tequila no matter how much you add to a drink. She claimed she added some more tequila but she only added more mix. The tech was rude and acted as if she didnt want to do my service. She placed a hot towel on my legs without letting it cool. She just laid the towel on my legs not wiping the oil off i had to ask for a towel get the oil off myselfl. I was so disappointed because I had a great experience before with Michael. Maybe it’s just the women who are rude. I let her know she ruined me whole relaxation experience. Then I was never told polishes with certain tops cost more. It would have been nice to know when I was rushed to select a polish I dont even like. I’m so disappointed .

Place is beautiful but I was not happy with my nails. They are bumpy and dull, not shiny as I am used to. The tech did not disinfectant tools after my manicure, just put them back in the pouches and returned them to his nail kit bag to go on to the next customer, after I saw this I was sure they were not disinfected before use on my nails.

I work late on Thursdays and even though they were closing in an hour Ruby and Micheal not only did not rush me getting mani and pedi but picked out a perfect color for me, took their time, and treated me so well! I highly recommend them! Pedicure, Dip powder

Might of been 1 bad experience but my polish only lasted for 4 days before it peeled off like a sticker. You would think $40 manicure with gel polish would last longer.
