Having been in the salon industry for over 22 years, Geena began her career as a top graduate of the Gene Juarez Beauty Academy in Seattle. She then completed the Gene Juarez Advanced Training Course specializing in all facets of cutting hair. Over the past 22 years, she has perfected skills in cutting, coloring, styling, foil and perms. Geena continues to attends classes, beauty and fashion events to further her skills.

I initially booked an appointment with her specifically because of her COVID safety practices, and I was not disappointed; she’s only taking clients who are fully vaccinated, and she requires all clients to wear a mask. Her single stylist salon is meticulously cleaned and sanitized and she was incredibly respectful and communicative about following CDC protocol. Her new salon is very conveniently located with easy parking, and is super cute and inviting inside! I felt very safe and comfortable during my entire visit. She is super friendly, and very easy to talk to. And she gave me the BEST cut I have ever had in my entire life; I’ve been getting my hair cut and colored my entire life, but I can say that Geena is hands down the most skilled and knowledgeable stylist I have ever had. She’s now 100% my go-to stylist! My hair is of course perfectly styled every time I leave her salon, but I am always so pleased with how great it looks even after I wash it myself. I hate styling my hair, and Geena always gives me cuts that are super low maintenance and air dry nicely. I LOVE Geena!! I initially booked an appointment with her specifically because of her COVID safety practices, and I was not disappointed; she’s only taking clients who are fully vaccinated, and she requires all clients to wear a mask. Geena is fantastic! I’ve had multiple great haircuts from her, and most recently some very fun color work (I’ve wanted blue hair since I was a kid, and we finally made it happen!). Geena listens to what you want, but also provides recommendations based on her expertise that have been bang on for me. With the unpredictability of COVID, I appreciate the mask policy at her studio, and feel safe and in great hands whenever I’m there.

Geena truly is the best hair stylist I’ve ever been to. She’s informative, she knows what looks best on you, and is extremely talented. She puts in a lot of effort to style your hair to make you look great and offers a lot of great suggestions on how to take care of your hair. She’s professional but also an amazing person. She’s so kind and wants to make sure you look and feel good after your appointment. Her covid protocols are great, she gives you detailed instructions on getting to her salon and parking, and is very responsive. I’ve been going to Geena for almost a year now and I am very happy with the results after each visit! Before her I’ve been going to various larger high end hair salons and just wasn’t loving the results even after showing pictures and describing what I wanted. For the longest time I thought that was normal. My hair was also getting so damaged and dry. After getting recommended Geena, she has completely elevated my hair. My hair feels so healthy and I love how she shapes the hair to fit my face. I realized having a good haircut that suits you gives you so much confidence! This is a long overdue review. I recently moved into the city, researched quite a bit before deciding to schedule my haircut and partial foil with Geena. A couple of things that influenced my decision, Geena’s salon is a one person managed salon, safe during these uncertain times. She only takes vaccinated clients and insists on wearing a double mask while she wears too. Most importantly it was great to speak with her. She was direct yet detailed in understanding my hair type, my expectations before scheduling me. Coming to the actual experience, Geena first took time to understand my hair texture, the damage it’s been through and the products I’ve been using. Based in all this she recommended the type of haircut, color that would best look good on me, being an Indian with thick black hair makes it difficult to retain color. It’s 4 weeks now and my hair looks great, the haircut is low maintenance, I usually air dry my hair and it looks great, even without having to style it after every single wash.

I have been coming to Geena regularly for over 3 months now, and let me just say she is my pandemic fairy godmother! I am so impressed with her safety protocols, she requires clients to wear 2 masks and has a space for just the 1 client only which is perfect, especially during Covid times. Now down to the actual hair services. I have thick, curly hair that is definitely not easy to cut and style. Geena spent our first appointment teaching me how to wash my hair properly, recommend ed what products to use and showed me how to style my hair quick and easy. As a busy first time mom I never have too much time to get ready and thanks to Geena doing my hair now has become a breeze. I love how she really takes time to understand my hair concerns and shows me how to keep my hair looking healthy and pretty. I highly recommend her services!
