My experience at gg nails was absolutely terrible. I went with my girlfriends. We made an appointment for 4 pedicures at 2. They ended up helping 3/4 of us after 40 minutes of waiting. When I walked over to my chair the water was overflowing onto the floor, I asked her if I could have a towel and she rolled a cart in front of it as I’m already stepping in it. I asked for a lighter color and the lady painted one coat and two top coats. I could still see the tip of my nail and the color was still see through. I asked her to do like 3 coats. Absolutely terrible customer service. Was charged $50 each for a gel pedicure when the sign clearly stated $34. As my pedicure was finished and we paid while our other girlfriend that waited an hour before even being able to have her service done.The lady’s who were done while our other friend was waiting still didn’t help her and went to the back while we heard the microwave go off and smelled the food while the last lady who was done with our girlfriend who finished LAST THEN went to go help our friend who hadn’t even started yet. We noticed that other customers were handed pamphlets of what services to choose from. The lady’s chose for us and we didn’t know we could choose. You are only allowed to pay tips in cash. And they ask you if you are tipping them. And we chose not to tip due to the terrible customer service, being shamed, ignored, and the overall atmosphere of uncleanliness. ITS ABSOLUTELY repulsive. Never coming back again. Do not recommend. The place is incredibly dirty and they touch the color samples on people feet and the ground then put them back into the bin. Very unsanitary. They don’t wash there tools. And floors are so dirty it’s actually disgusting!!!! My toes were EVEN CHIPPED and they didn’t even care to cut them or fix them!!

I had been to this shop awhile ago but it is under new ownership as of July 2022. Tao and Coco (Brittney) are FANTASTIC and take great care of each client! I have NEVER been to have my nails done and left without my nail beds hurting. Both Britney and Tao amazed me with their gentle and accurate creativity. I didn’t tell them my story but they took such great care and I was amazed I had no pain! I hope all of St Michael and Albertville learn of them because if they stay in this area, I’m a client for life! 10/10 I HIGHLY recommend!

Once again disappointed by service here. I waited 15 minutes for my pedicure appointment. I was not asked what type of pedicure I wanted. I asked her if I was able to get the Deluxe Pedicure. She informed me there was no time. I waited 15 minutes. There would have been plenty of time. I wish they would have told me so I could have received the service I needed from somewhere else. I just wasted my time and money.

Positive: Cleanliness, Quality, ValueI have been going to Gg Nails for almost 7 years and I will never go anywhere else! Kena always does such a great job and she takes the time to make sure I am happy with my nails. She does really fun designs and is always up to date on the newest nail trends, so I usually just let her do whatever she wants and I get SO MANY compliments on my nails all the time! I love getting my nails done here and constantly am recommending everyone to go see Kena! I have been going to Gg Nails for almost 7 years and I will never go anywhere else! Kena always does such a great job and she takes the time to make sure I am happy with my nails. She does really fun designs and is always up to date on the newest nail trends, so I usually just let her do whatever she wants and I get SO MANY compliments on my nails all the time! They were fixed and went home only to notice 5 different nails all had shattered. Messaged the owner, said they said they would return my call, no one ever called back. $60 for cracked nails within 24 hours? Go somewhere else!!! I am new to the area and was looking for a new nail salon. I saw the reviews on this particular place and noticed they were fairly decent.I know these types of nail salons can be a hit or a miss. But since I was too impatient to wait for the nail techs at the little salon that I have found in the area I thought I would give it a shot. Definitely one of the worst manicure pedicures I have ever had. I decided on a gel french manicure. The shape of my nails were completely off. Some looked rounded some squared and some completely misshapen. When she was done the gel was all over my skin causing my actual nails to be stuck to my skin. When I had pointed it out she tried to clip them off with the cuticle clipper and completely ripped a chunk off. Instead of redoing the nail she tried to patch it, you could see a huge gaping hole on the side of my nail and a raise chunk where the white piece should be. I definitely will not be returning to the salon. I should add though there was another tech there that was getting quite a bit of traffic. She seemed pretty sought out after from a lot of the ladies that came in. They were obviously very happy with her.

I got a full set and a pedicure done. They did a really good job and everything looked great. I like them a lot better then other local salons, I will continue to use them as my primary salon. Plus the place was clean and neat and they speak English in front of you which I like.
