This is such a welcoming salon. The stylists are attentive, have great suggestions and I’m always really happy with my hair when I walk out of the door. It isn’t a large salon, which makes it more welcoming and relaxing, and it’s nicely laid out.

Had a wonderful first-time experience at Fringe. I will be a regular here from now on. The salon is clean and well maintained, and just the right size. My stylist Ashley was wonderful to work with. She listened carefully to what I had in mind, answered all of my questions, and explained what she was going to be doing throughout my haircut. My daughter has been to Fringe several times for a variety of services including hair, brows and make up. The staff here is friendly, well trained and professional. They even went above and beyond to accommodate her when scheduling an appointment. The results of the staff are the best you will find in the area. Ashley has a very distinct and awesome talent when it comes to make up. She made my daughter up without looking “made up”. She accentuated her beauty the way only a true pro can. Ashley, Nicole and Lauren are the best. I used to have hair before my kids made it all disappear from being crazy savages. When I had hair, I would have Ashley cut if for me and she always did the best job. I still take both my son and daughter there and they are so good with kids. I have never seen stylists who are better with kids. Most of the stylists that I have taken my kids to either don’t engage with them or are horribly impatient and snippy with them because they squirm too much. Lauren and Ashley are extremely patient and engaging with both of my kids. If you want the best service in town, go see these ladies.

By far the best salon in Bloomington. The staff is incredibly friendly and professional. I’m in town visiting family and needed a haircut badly. I found Fringe on Yelp and decided to check it out, and I’m so glad I did! I just went in for a trim, but Ashley did am amazing job! She really listened to what I wanted, took her time, and was incredibly kind and pleasant to talk to during my appointment. For $35 she washed my hair, cut it, dried it and styled it. I’ve had some down right awful experiences in salons in the past, so I’m always a little nervous before getting my hair done. I told Ashley this, and not only was she was super nice about it, but the quality of her work settled all of my fears. If I lived here she would be my go to person, hands down. I’m gonna have to save all of my haircuts for when I come to visit my family!

To add insult to injury, in January I put a box color on my hair. That promised to lighten my hair . What it did instead was make it look like a orangish brassy color. So needless to say, I needed help! Amber worked diligently to take the brassiness out completely. She also was able to give me beautiful blond hiighlights,the best I’ve ever had, and I’ve been getting highlights for years! The cut she gave me was awesome as well! I have been going to Lauren since I moved to Bloomington. She does an excellent job and is very friendly. The salon is always clean and I never have to wait when I have a scheduled appointment. I highly recommend this salon.
