This place is a hidden Gem!!! The Woman Erica who owns and runs it created all of these fantastic skin care treatments. When you go in you can tell them about your skin they will match you with a skin care regimen. I got the purifying cleanser bar and the nourish moisturizer. Both are working great and leave my skin feeling clean and fresh. Both these products also last a long time a little goes a long way. The moisturizer also has this unique plunger when you push it just the right amount comes out. The bar I keep in a little tubberware container to keep it together and dry in between uses. Again all these products were designed for different skin types so the one I got might not work for you but if you go in they can match you. They also offer skin care spa packages !!! I’m planning on trying this out and of course will leave an updated review on that when I book an appointment. This place also offers make up, candles, bath essentials, soy melts. All of course are made by Erica and are formulated just right without the chemicals etc. Definitely check them out I love their old new castle location but they also are located in Wilmington. But if you can’t make it to the store they also are available online. check out this place and support a local small business!!

To start i just want to say it was an amazing expierence. The store was clean, well kept and welcoming, Erica was very nice and professional and made me feel welcome and comfortable. She asked me about my needs and concerns and answered all my questions. The expierence of the facial was absolutely delightful, it was soo relaxing and refreshing. This was my first time seeing Erica, I thought she was very knowledgeable, friendly and professional. The atmosphere was very warm and inviting. I was a little nervous as this was my first time getting dermaplaning but she made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Over all it was a great experience and I will be returning. Was so thankful to find Fresh Faced Skin Care by a referral on the MOT Residents page on FB. I made an appointment immediately. Erica was so informative and knowledgeable. I love that everything is natural so no more antibiotics in my daughter’s body which weren’t working anyway. Her dark spots were cleared up and her acne is 90% better in 6 months! So happy with the results and the products.

I began my journey with Erica at Fresh Faced a little over 6 months ago and my acne is completely clear! I had a cluster of acne on the right side of my face for a few years and nothing else worked. The facials were quick and effective and she helped me keep the faith throughout the process even when it seemed like little was happening on the surface. I completed my 4 treatments minimum and have been acne free for about 2 months now. Erica’s products works miracles and I truly appreciate her knowledge and passion for the work she does. **LONG REVIEW** I 1st went to Erica June 2020. On my 1st visit she told me my skin would be clear in 4 treatments. I am a black woman who had active breakouts, cystic acne and bad hyperpigmentation. So I left the appointment feeling very hopefully and gave her a glowing review only after the 1st appointment based on hope. I then referred my mother to her and she started seeing Erica August 2020. After my 3rd treatment I saw very very little improvement. Erica said I must not have been doing something right she swears her kitchen made products are the greatest. Maybe they are for other skin types but not for people of color with skin issues. So I found another esthetician who has a PHD “CK SKIN SPA” and she knows skin, where Erica only knows chemicals. CK Skin Spa is located in Wilmington, DE Cindy is a amazing she has done wonders with my skin. You can see my results on her IG page @ckskinspadelaware. She is a great option for people of color, tell her I referred you!! NOW even after me not seeing results my mother continued to see Erica up until September 2021. My mother called Erica and left her a DETAILED voicemail as to why she was canceling her end of the month September appointment and if she could please call her. My mother called back a week later and left another DETAILED voicemail, then she sent an email to Erica with pictures showing her how her skin was starting to get darker and rough. My mother had expressed to Erica her concerns about her skin in her July 2021 appointment and Erica told her to cut back on using the serum which she did, however in September 2021 my mother skin was worse. ERICA HAS YET TO CALL MY MOTHER REGARDING HER SKIN ISSUES AND IT’S NOW DECEMBER 2021. You maybe wondering why I’m deciding to write this review now. After seeing my mother upset last night about how her skin is worse than what it was a year ago and knowing I am the one who referred her to Erica hurts. My mother is now afraid to see anyone else about her skin even a dermatologist. Erica has scarred her physically & emotionally. Erica is unprofessional and if you have an issues with her homemade products she gets defensive as if her products are the end all be all. Erica’s products are NOT for people who suffer from acne and DEFINITELY NOT FOR PEOPLE OF COLOR WITH ACNE, CYSTIC ACNE & HYPERPIGMENTATION.
