$16 is a great price for a haircut. The atmosphere reminds me of a thrift store, which I actually find comfortable. Good hours, easy to get to, and I always like a barber shop where chatting isn’t the norm. I don’t think I will return, however. The women who worked there barely spoke English, which wouldn’t have been a problem if they had naturally understood/provided the cut I wanted – an admittedly miraculous feat that I’ve found in my favorite barbers. More objectively, the tools used and handling of my head could both be described as a little rough. The language barrier, style of cutting, and poor quality tools outweighed the pros for me here.

I’ve been taking my son here for a haircut for 15 years. I drive in from Tysons and wouldn’t go anywhere else. A true neighborhood place. The only place my two year old got a haircut without going psycho. He’s now almost 18 and we make it a regular thing.
