Critical: Professionalism8/4/2021 : I went to fancy nails for the first time. I asked for white dip powder with acrylic tips. I noticed before my service was finished, that one of my nails was crooked and the other had a hump in it. I politely asked if there was something we could do to fix it, and the owner (Nikki, who did my nails) acted like it was not an inconvenience at all. I even tipped her $10 for her services and how polite she was.8/6/2021 : I noticed my nails started to turn a yellowish color. *Pictures attached*8/21/2021 : My daughter and I had an appointment at 1pm. We go in, wash our hands, and pick out our colors. They start working on my daughters nails first, and as I’m waiting (Rita?) asks me what dip color(s) I would like. Rita’s(?) first excuse to not do my nails was,* they were out of the colors I wanted- which wasn’t true because I could see the colors on the back wall that I wanted.* her second excuse was that they couldn’t do the dip because of my acrylic tips. But the owner was the one who put them on 2 weeks before.* the third excuse after I’m questioning where I stand, Amy (employee) tells my daughter that she can’t do my nails because she already has an appointment after my daughter. and that I would have to come back at 5. After Amy already told me that she can do my nails after my daughter. So, I ask that they make it right because I did have an appointment at 1pm. They proceeded to talk around me as if I’m a third person, and tell my daughter that “I’m too picky” and that only Nikki is to do my nails.I was very hurt and humiliated to know someone feels that way about me. Clearly I’m not too picky as I was walking around with discolored nails for 2 weeks. Clearly they talk about their customers behind their backs because if Nikki wasn’t there, then how would they pin point who I was with me only going 1 other time…Service: Dip powder8/4/2021 : I went to fancy nails for the first time. If you want a great nail dip done, go to Fancy Nails in Hamilton Town Center and ask for Amy.She is very meticulous and does an excellent job. Everyone I’ve had there has been good, but Amy is the best in my opinion!!

I’ve been going here for AT LEAST 4 years. I took my 2 oldest girls and my 7 year old, one who had acrylic for the first time. Both girls said the ladies were gentle with them while using the drill. We all left happy with our nails!

The atmosphere is nice and staff is very friendly. I ordered the $35 pedicure for callous removal. As you can see in photos, my feet are not any better and normally these are removed after pedicures I have had in past. The pedicure lasted 20 minutes only, bare minimum done.

Positive: Punctuality, Quality, ValueI read all the negative reviews about this place and I can only speak about my nail Tech Michael who has done dip nails for me for the last 3 or 4 yrs, but Michael is very polite and does very meticulous work.I am always able to get an appointment with him. The dip nail cost is only $40. I think this is reasonable especially since he ALWAYS takes his time and does an excellent job. I have never been disappointed.Service: Dip powderI read all the negative reviews about this place and I can only speak about my nail Tech Michael who has done dip nails for me for the last 3 or 4 yrs, but Michael is very polite and does very meticulous work. …More

Critical: QualityI just left for the first time extremely disappointed in this place. In the beginning, I asked for 2 specific colors that I had noted for my nails the last time, and a woman came over and showed me the powder (not a painted nail) for 2 colors. One was darker and she was recommending to go with the lighter one. If you have ever had your nails dipped, you know you cannot tell the color by the powder. Additionally, until your nails get the final top coat, you cannot tell what color it will really be. I assumed the lighter powder was the color number that I gave to her. I guess we just did not understand each other. As my nails were getting painted, I happened to notice that the jar of dip powder had a different number on it – of course this was at the END of the multiple layers that had been painted on. So, once finished – I recognized the color was a nude color – NOT pink like the color I asked for. I felt I had to say how disappointed I was and another girl who was working late tried to explain that I needed to say something earlier. When I tried to tell her that I was under the assumption that they retrieved the color number I asked for, she told me that they do not make that color anymore and that the other nail tech picked something close. I explained that the color was not close. So, she was nice about offering to switch the colors to make me happy. I questioned her – as I did not want the nails to look bad with yet another layer on top and she assured me she would “fix it.” Well, lo and behold, I guess she was in an extreme hurry to get home because my nails look terrible – really – just look at my pictures! I questioned her about how thick they were and she told me “that’s what happens when you layer one color on top of all the other layers.” Really? You told me you would FIX it. And, I have the new pink color ALL over my fingers – see pictures. My skin is starting to hurt – I am going to scrub with nail remover to see if I can remove from my skin at least. Then, I noticed the white nail from the earlier tech had painted into my cuticle and it looks secured pretty good too. I asked her if this would come off with washing and she told me, “No, probably not.” So am I just supposed to live with them this way for a month??? I also got a pedicure too – the massage and all that as fine, but the paint job is not good either! It really looks bad as well and I am going to have to pay someone else to re-due those as well! Please note, there are good nail techs here at this salon but it is hit or miss. I realize it can happen anywhere. But this time it was so bad – I had to let the buyer beware! I lost my money and will have to pay someone else to remove and start all over. Not to mention my time that has been lost!Service: Nail artI just left for the first time extremely disappointed in this place. Love going here however I always make appointments and am never seen on time. Not sure what the point of making an appointment is if you’re not going to be seen for at least 20 minutes after the scheduled time every single time. Hoping they can schedule better going forward. Dip powder

Critical: Professionalism, Punctuality, Quality, ValueI went to get a full set. After calling ahead and she tells me to come in, I was stuck waiting for at least 20min. Then I get finished up, I tip (very well) because I always do) I leave. I did love the color. Shape was exactly what I asked for. Just a few small bumps. However I have two broken nails after 5days. Due to being so thin. The acrylic barely covered my nails. I wouldn’t go back!Service: ManicureI went to get a full set.
