After a disastrous hair cut last year, I finally summoned up the courage to make another appointment at a different salon. I was a bit nervous to start with as Extensions for You is a small owner operated salon and my first thought was “what if it goes wrong again?” I needn’t of worried. Dorian put me at ease immediately and took the time to understand what I wanted. She talked me through each and every stage and and checked in regularly to make sure I was happy. She is professional and affable at the same time and is clearly experienced as she managed to transform my thick, dry, damaged and unruly hair into smooth, glossy tresses with little more than a pair of scissors, a blow dryer and a hair brush. Don’t be put off by the fact it’s a small salon – it’s perfectly comfortable and Dorian gives you her undivided attention. Dorian is nothing short of a miracle worker! After a disastrous hair cut last year, I finally summoned up the courage to make another appointment at a different salon. I came to her feeling really helpless after having an unfortunate experience at another salon that left me with an uneven haircut and dye job. Dorian maintained her professionalism, did not harp on what was messed up about my hair at the moment and fixed it with no issue. I left the salon with silky shiny hair and an even haircut that did not compromise the length of my hair at all (which was my biggest fear). She is so informative and tells you exactly what she’s doing and why, and her salon is designed in a way that welcomes a true one-on-experience with her where she gives you her undivided attention. Dorian is truly an amazing stylist, colorist and human. I came to her feeling really helpless after having an unfortunate experience at another salon that left me with an uneven haircut and dye job.
