I came in with a Groupon for a Brazilian wax and initially declined upgrading to sugaring, thinking the difference wouldn’t be that much. After some really red skin partway through waxing, I moved to sugaring. Wow wow wow. Totally different experience. Smoother than I ever got with waxing, a fraction of the pain, and I left the shop with no discomfort. I literally walked out the door and am writing this review in my car because I am so pleased with the results. Go with the sugaring, you will not regret it. I will not be going back to waxing. Cannot recommend enough.

Get the sugaring. Seriously, it’s a totally different experience from wax. It’s designed for coarse, thick hair, and the difference in pain was NIGHT AND DAY. Hard wax for me, feels like a full on slap for each pull. It’s incredibly painful. The sugaring on the other hand, felt like one single tweezed hair per pull. I was so shocked! I’ve had worse experiences shaving myself and getting cut up

The woman who did my wax was incredibly kind and great at making me feel comfortable and educated about everything that was happening during the process, plus it was quick and much less painful than I had anticipated, she definitely knows what she’s doing !

The wax was suppose to take an hour, but that’s really only when you use the sugar wax. I had specifically asked for the non-sugar wax when I set my appointment.
