Kailee has been doing my full leg and arm wax a few times now, and she is my favorite!! I love getting waxed here. She makes me feel comfortable and the wax doesn’t hurt as much as people think! She recommends products for after wax care and i love everything i’ve used so far. Your first wax is free, and then my first arm wax was discounted, which was a great surprise. Honestly, the prices aren’t bad. The wax lasts me 4-6 weeks and i used to have to shave every couple days!!

I got my underarms, full legs, and full Brazilian done on 12/18. I called ahead and mentioned I was pregnant and they ensured me they would give me a gentle and sensitive skin wax. I’ve been waxed before (not at EWC) and have had wonderful results. First thing that was a red flag for me was the wax specialist not leaving the room for me to undress. I wasn’t used to someone being with me while I stripped down and that made me a little uncomfortable as I am 8.5 months pregnant and I struggle with getting my clothes on and off so some privacy would have been nice. Second red flag, was I only saw one type of wax on the table. One huge tub of all purpose wax. Previous places I went to would have different waxes for different areas of the body. My skin was hardly prepped in anyway other than a very cursory surface wipe of my bikini area. As she waxes me, she never holds my skin taut when pulling the wax off, causing me intense pain and felt like my skin would come off. This was especially painful for my Brazilian. I was sore for 3 days after in my groin and had light bruising. I also received ZERO aftercare from my waxing. I paid, and tipped 20%. I went home and had to peel my clothes off. She left so many clumps of wax on my legs and my bikini area with large patches of hair still in my skin that I had to spend 15 minutes ripping off myself. I can’t even see below my waist because of my pregnant belly so this was done by feel. Then I ran my hands down my legs and I could feel broken hairs everywhere. It felt like stubble 2 days after shaving. I honestly cried. With tip I spent $192.90 as a self care pregnancy/Christmas gift to myself and it was awful. I also knew I would break out but I waited 2 weeks to make this review just to be sure. TMI my entire Brazilian region is going through puberty now. I am giving birth this weekend and I’m mortified by the state of my groin and all the ingrown hairs and swelling I have down there. I left a review via email and all they offered me was to come back for a touch up within 5 days of my appointment. Never acknowledging how I was waxed and with very little skill. Why would I go back for more torture? I will never step foot inside another EWC and I should have gone with my gut and went to a fancy boutique instead like I usually do. They cost more, but at least they know what they’re doing.
