I have nothing personally against Lanna. I went to see her for the first time with my mom. We were both doing a cut and color. I asked for a lighter natural looking red color, and my mom asked for chocolate brown. Instead she walked out with caramel, and my hair was a dark medium red(ish). In addition to that, the service felt very unpracticed. Despite Lanna stating she has 8 years of experience, during the color application she was not careful with the dye, going too far past my hairline and getting dye on my cheek. When she washed my hair she barely touched the back of my head and paid little attention to the staining on my hairline and cheek. Later in the day I was pulling globs of hair dye out of my hair, from behind my ear, and inside the helix of my ear. After her drying my hair, it looked frizzy, but I figured it may just be the shampoo she used. After two washes now, I see that I have very dry and frizzy hair, which is not at all what I expect when getting professional service. I requested a refund 3 days after the service, because I was trying to (1) let the color grow on me and not be a Karen about it, and (2) see if a couple of at-home keratin treatments would help, but they didn’t. My refund request was denied in full. Buyer beware.

Lanna has saved my hair’s integrity and physical appearance. I had ruined my hair by bleaching it myself at home and my hair was literally melting off and it felt like hay. After ONE visit to lanna, it felt like completely different hair! Now, she’s the only one I trust to touch my hair. I’m so happy every time I leave her salon chair. The first picture was before I ever went to see her and the second picture is my hair now after two years of having her take care of it.

I’ve been going to Lanna for 2+ years. When we initially crossed paths, I was going through a grow-out-a-relaxer phase. Lanna took her time and made sure I was happy with the results of each appointment from the start. Her technique to blend extensions is awesome. I’ve had so many tell me that they didn’t realize I had extensions after I mention it. My hair hasn’t been this healthy in a long time. I attribute this all to her.

Lanna has been doing mine and my daughters hair for about 10 years. She has taken my daughter from black to blond and changed my hair color a million times. While I do complain that she is messy with her dye (LOL) I have never been dissatisfied with any service. I recommend her 10/10. Hair coloring
