Although I got a nice pedicure, the place was in complete disarray. The woman was by herself trying to deal with 3 clients – only 1 client there when I arrived but then another woman came after me. She yakked a bit too much, but was very understanding when I asked her not to use the shaver on my feet. It was also almost 2x what I am used to paying anywhere else for a pedicure. It was $60.

What fun! My husband and I went together for pedicures. He has tried salons a few times and was not happy so he was a little uneasy. Miss Hong immediately put him at ease, explained each step and gave him a great simple pedicure. He could not be happier.

I was so excited to find a nail salon in Stowe that wasn’t part of a hotel spa. Miss Chau does an excellent job on my fingers and toes and is amazing at picking the right color for my skin tone. I love chatting with her, a rarity in my experience at a nail salon and the stories she tells make me laugh. For me visiting Essential Nail Spa is a relaxing experience amidst my busy days.

Not only SO attentive and a multitasking QUEEN, but I have so much respect for this business owner. I went here for the first time ever, the lady was absolutely funny. she was very open and talkative which i liked. it made me feel comfortable. she was helpful when it came to choosing a color she helped picked out one that was best for my skin tone and nail shape that was good for my nail beds. when it got to filing. some of the nail tips were falling off, which ive never seen happen, so it was unusual. some of my nails were misaligned and not all the same shape. the paint job was not the best and i wish i didnt get a print because it looks nothing to what i wanted, i wanted a cow print, and no tool was used to do it, it looks like poka dots. my appt was on new year eve at 3:30 and i left right before 6. it is now new years day, i bumped my nail on MY LEG and it broke off. i would make this my usual place because i loved the owners i had a great time but the nails were not so great. when i called, i asked for price and she said $65, when me and the person i was with left, the lady had said it was $75. When the person i was with asked “75 i thought it was 65” didnt get an answer yes design went an extra 7 dollars but 10 thats the most we have ever spent on nails. Probably will not be going again. Even a fill is 55 thays crazy compared to other nail places.

1. Not cleaned, Dirty nail station from previous customers full of dust and nail parts from drilling. 2. Lots of talking to everyone in the salon not focusing on the quality of service. Because of that, the woman was loosing counting on how many layers she has done already to what nail. 3 she didn’t do my cuticles 4. Didn’t do the free edge 5. Final result: The surface of the nails are like bumps on ski slopes. And Some of my nails look like shovels.

Sadly, my nails have held up pretty great after getting dip. The only reason i say “sadly” is because this was probably the most unprofessional, inappropriate, & out of line woman that has ever done my nails. The racial conversations, inappropriate choice of words, & the amount of F bombs coming out of her mouth made me never want to step foot in this building again.
