Elevation 138 Salon was established in Fort Wayne, IN in 2009. We are a Redken Black Level salon and we are committed to continual education for our staff. We believe in encouraging others to embrace their beauty from the inside out! We are an All-Inclusive Salon, meaning that we accept & respect all individuals. We have two bilingual stylists. Ferida is fluent in Bosnian and Billy is fluent in Spanish. We offer Redken, Mizani, and Kerastase Professional haircare brands.

Where do I start. Staff was sweet and as a business I felt comfortable and adored this place. Referred so many people. I wanted to change my hair style up a bit, I scheduled an appointment and paid $200 to have my hair done. I left with NOTHING close to what I asked for. It was by far no offense to that stylist but truly the worst color I’ve ever gotten. I contacted the salon manager and she rescheduled me with a different gal to correct the color and give me what I actually wanted and paid for. All that girl did was add one foil. ONE. I contacted the salon once again and spoke with the owner himself. He forgot to call the first day cause they got busy. No biggie. Then he called me while I was at work and busy. I contacted him and he said he’d call me back. I then didn’t receive a call. We just love playing phone tag I suppose. I sent my phone number in hopes I’d get a text or call of some sort. Nothing. I’ve debated going somewhere else and getting what I wanted but just can’t bring myself to spend more money. I again loved this place so to now not have a hair salon to trust and feel heard sucks. I spoke with so many people along the way through all of this and all I wanted was to finally be heard. Remind you I messaged through Instagram even before the appointment. Spoke personally to the hair stylist via text. They had photos of what I wanted. 3 reference photos to be exact!

The first photo was before. The last 2 were after. My hairstylist was freida and Billy. The overall experience was so great. As you can see, I had fairly long hair and decided to chop it off. I found freida on IG. She spealises in short hair, which was the perfect fit for me. The consultation was great. We chatted about this drastic change I was about to embark on. Her and Billy made me feel so comfortable and reassured me every step of the way. I’m very happy with my hair. I feel absolutely stunning and comfortable in my skin for the first time in a long time. So thank you, Frieda, and thank you, Billy. Thank you to the staff at the elevation. I truly appreciate it.

Went to get my 2 year olds haircut. Just to frame her face so her hair is not in her face and trim her bangs. First off, they charges me $29 for a kids haircut that is uneven and still in her face. The lady cut her hair dry & one side is uneven compared to the other . I am very disappointed for the amount of money I paid for a 2 year olds hair. Never going back.
