ELEGANT SPA AND NAILS

Critical: ProfessionalismI have given 5 stars review for this salon on Yelp in the past. However, this review is based my experience from my last visit on Friday. I called and tried to schedule appointment with Lena (10 stars manicurist), someone confirmed my appointment. Half hour later, a lady called back told me Lena couldn’t be there to do my gel manicure. She asked if I would be okay to have another person do it and I said that’s fine. Mary was polite at first, and I thank her for letting me know about Lena’s absent. I came with my nails clean and short, no gel leftover from last manicure. I requested minimum cutting because I didn’t have much cuticle either the top or both side of my nails, only on the corner of my fingers. I wasn’t sure if she heard me or she didn’t understand? 10 mins after she started, she was distracted because she was talking to other staffs with her own language. The worst came at the last 5 mins of the service, she was applying the last coat, and she was rushing to finish the job (no customer were waiting?). I didn’t understand why she would use the cuticle cutter again at this point to cut at a spot which I told her not to in the beginning?? Also, would you put lotion on a bleeding spot on someone’s finger and press it with your own bare fingers??? I have given 5 stars review for this salon on Yelp in the past. However, this review is based my experience from my last visit on Friday. They should be embarrassed with the quality of my nails, the more I look at them the more I notice that even the sides of my nails are missing acrylic and are just painted. I showed my nail tech my inspiration picture and she said she could do it, I tried explaining many ways and times if she could make the green thicker to give it a paint drop effect and this is as thick as I got. They should be embarrassed with the quality of my nails, the more I look at them the more I notice that even the sides of my nails are missing acrylic and are just painted. I sat there for two hours and ended up paying $67 for this embarrassing set.
