This place was horrible The man in there did about 15 minutes job, which I was told by the lady that it would be a half hour (that is what I’m paying for) He kept yelling at me telling me not to look at him while he was cutting my nails, then went to pay he started yelling again ,wanted only cash not check or credit card, I would never refer any one to go there, The price isn’t worth it, If he is only doing for 15 mins, but your paying for the 30 minutes ., Atmosphere was not very comfortable. Worst pedi experience I’ve ever had!! Terrible customer service and so unprofessional!!! This guy didn’t even give me the entire half hour and still charged me full price! He acted like he didn’t want to be there let alone make it enjoyable for anyone. I heard him yelling at an elderly person who seemed so confused as to why he was being mean to her! I was confused too! This guy is a jerk and shouldn’t be running a business!!! Do not go here if you actually want a good experience. He’s terrible. I’d give it -5 stars if I could!!!

I was in Augusta for an appointment, and had some time to get a pedi/mani. I chose Elegant because it took walk ins, was opening shortly, and was in proximity to where I needed to be. The shop opens at 9am. I was at the door at 9:02 and no one was there. I waited until 9:06, when a man and woman (I presume the owners) arrived and unlocked the door. Listen, late days happen, I get it, but no apologies to me nor to the woman who actually had a 9am appointment. I told the man I wanted a pedi/mani and he pointed to where I pick my color. They had a very limited selection, and it looked as though they never refreshed their polish. Very old tones…no neutrals to speak of, no “newer” vibrant colors like turquoise or mint. When I walked to the pedicure chair, I had a chance to take in my surroundings. This place is a dump. Trash cans were overfilled and running over, empty food containers stashed in places clearly forgotten, carpet and chairs held together by duct tape, a couch with blankets on it like it acted as a bed, remnants of people’s nail clippings and shavings piled at work stations. I don’t think they have ever washed the mirrors. The service: no cuticle work either for my pedi or mani, no base coat before polish on the pedi (I asked and he said “we don’t do that”). I got gel polish for my mani but he didn’t keep the UV machine warm so my mani was tacky when I left. They only take cash, they don’t have a sign stating that anywhere, and the nearest ATM is down the road several blocks and charges $4 for the ATM. The only redeeming quality of this place is that the man was very nice. The woman on the other hand, loudly complained the entire time I was there. Total cost: $50
