We went to this place today to get my son’s hair buzzed (to bald). There was one customer and one employee. The employed told us that they weren’t taking anymore customers. They only had 3 people working there and everyone was full. So, we left. But, asked my husband to stop by on his way home from work and make an appointment for himself. Of course, not only did she offer to cut Ken’s hair tonight, she also offered to schedule a different appointment if now wasn’t good. Ken said he’d make one later and came home. Needless to say Ken and I went back to the salon together. She didn’t see him and she actually reiterated what she told me earlier. So, when he stood up she started shaking. She turned pale. I just looked at her. She had the nerve to say I know what you’re thinking. I didn’t want to offend you. I said you have no idea what I’m thinking and I couldn’t be more offended. Well, we don’t do ethnic hair. But, I told her that wasn’t what she said. That wouldn’t have been offensive. You didn’t ask what I wanted. He just gets his hair buzzed. You are certainly capable of doing that. I didn’t get ugly or offensive with her. She didn’t even see an angry black women. I did let her know that I would be posting a review of her salon. She couldn’t yes me fast enough to get us out. She was so scared..also a sign of her racism views.
