Critical: QualityI honestly never post bad reviewes but this is the first for me. Worst massage ever. Barely a massage and they want the money up front. They know exactly what they are doing even with a language barrier. They make you so frustrated by the horrible massage if you call it one then tell you $10 more to press harder. During massage kept picking up phone taking personal calls. After massage forces me to give 20% tip on a 30 min massage that the first 10 min barely did. Last 20 min was on the phone. Takes a lot to make me have to write what a horrible place this is and stealing your money. I honestly never post bad reviewes but this is the first for me. Worst massage ever. Barely a massage and they want the money up front. They know exactly what they are doing even with a language barrier. They make you so frustrated by the horrible massage if you call it one then tell you $10 more to press harder. Positive: QualityI was unfamiliar with the area and chose this spot. It is a great quality massage. Not fancy, but clean and relaxing. It is easier to bring cash so plan ahead. I will absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone who would like a strong and soothing massage.

Critical: Communication, ProfessionalismEastern Spa has really changed the past year. No Longer possible to get a 10 or 20 minute quick massage. Now it’s a minimum of a half hour. It use to be very reasonable. A few months ago they began charging extra for a deep muscle massage. Now it is $ 60:00 Dollars for a 40 minute massage. I made an appointment for a 40 minute massage. Upon arrival, I was informed a $ 10. 00 Dollar tip was mandatory . I always left a tip, but for management to tell me how much I must tip, regardless of service or expertise of the therapist, was too much. I left. Also, they should have informed me of a mandatory tip when the appointment was scheduled.I do not believe any of the people there are certified massage therapists. Quality of the massages were always hit or miss, and I took that into account when the prices were much lower.Now with questionable massages, poor communication between staff and customers due to a language barrier, and a disrespectful attitude toward customers, I will seek professional massages elsewhere.You would be better off going to a certified massage clinic for a few Dollars more.
