Really 1 star is too much for this place. It should be no starts or negative stars option.

I have been a drybar client and member for years and will now be canceling my membership after being turned away for showing up 6 minutes after my appointment. In my past experiences so long as you arrive within 10 minutes there isn’t an issue. In addition, met by someone at the front desk who was rude and unhelpful. In this day and age, for a company to not have a grace period is ridiculous. I will be canceling my membership and as a client today and will certainly be sharing my experience with everyone else I know who are busy, working mom’s and don’t have the ability to be precisely on time. Poor customer service and experience to say the least.

Super busy even in the middle of the day. My stylist was great, their card reader wasn’t accepting Bank of America cards that day for whatever reason so that was a hassle. But nothing was bad except for parking. They have no lot, so it’s just street parking which was impossible in the middle of a Friday. I had to park almost 2 blocks away. Get dropped off. Unless you can’t, then leave extra early to find a spot.

horrible costumer service, I booked my appointment for sunday at 3;45PM on my way to the salon I get a phone call from the receptionist, asking me if I could “make it now” or “at 3:30pm” my reply was im on my way im not sure if ill make but Ill try, but for sure ill be there by 3:40, mind you I received the call at 3:15pm, when I was on my way I call that ill be there at 3;40 due to traffic, to which she reply “oh no we change your appointment to 3:30, you agree, we cant take you at that time” I explained to her that I never agreed to that, to which she said ” oh sorry about that” this a horrible place and I hope the owners can see this reviews,

If you’re gonna come to this drybar location because all of the weho/bh/west la locations then save yourself the trouble and find your nearest Supercuts. Or someone w the same eyesight as Stevie wonder and people skills as Ted bundy. Either way don’t trek through some traffic-clad windy road just to have the snobby staff tell you you can either get a dry style from one of the two overworked stylists shooting you looks dirtier than the Vegas strip workers. Don’t do this place if you have a big event the next day. Don’t do this place if 3rd street is overbooked. Just don’t do it. The only SoCal location that’s made me question my barfly membership and simultaneously reminded me why you never do anything in the valley

I’m so impressed with the precautions Drybar takes. You must wait in your car until your appointment, they notify you by text or email when it’s your turn. Temperatures are taken when you come in. Only 3 clients in this large space at a time – I was at least 20 ft from the next client. My stylist, Lauralee, took her time, both blew out and flat ironed my hair beautifully. Chairs are wiped down and a ribbon is placed across each not in use. Masks required. I am so grateful for their thoughtful and professional way of opening business!

Consistently good quality. Commit to 2 blow drys a month, and they’re only $40. Out of a dozen visits, only once was I not crazy about the results. It doesn’t hurt that they serve wine & goodies while also running a “chick flick.” Almost makes getting your hair done into an event.

I walked in last week in search of a product. I normally buy them at Ulta and Sephora, but happened to be in the area so I popped in. Not one person greeted me or offered assistance! It’s disappointing considering the amount of money and time I have spend switching all of my hair products to Drybar’s.

I walked through the door the customary few mins before one has an apointment and it took a good 10 to 15 mins for anyone to say hello, let alone attend to me. Once the front desk girl did, I mentioned it was my first time and that I had an apointment. To which I was told I would have to wait 15 to 20 mins. This did not work as I had a time frame and something to attend. This is why I had made my apointment with enough time in advance to avoid this!!!! I walked out and went to a salon down the street that took better care of me as a walk in.

Drove all the way to the appointment to be told they couldn’t find it and that their system has been having issues. To me that is extremely poor customer service. If you know your system has been having issues why would you not take the appointment. In addition, prior to my arrival I called and spoke to a representative who informed me that the appointment was set for 8:15pm and that he was calling to make the salon aware ( this was my first time so I wanted to be sure they received all of the info which is why I called).
