Lisi has been applying my lashes for about a year now and she has never failed. She is an amazing person, business owner, and lash tech. Lisi and her staff always welcome you with a smile and make sure you are feeling right at home. Glam Lash & Beauty is such an amazing salon. The staff is incredibly friendly and the service is phenomenal. Lisi has been applying my lashes for about a year now and she has never failed. She is an amazing person, business owner, and lash tech. Lisi and her staff always welcome you with a smile and make sure you are feeling right at home. Every square foot of the building is clean as a whistle and not to mention the pictures inside are to die for! I felt so comfortable after that visit that I scheduled an appointment for two weeks from that day to get my eyebrows and braids done again and I also scheduled for lashes! Today was my second time visiting Glam Lash in Doral, the first time I went in, I did my eyebrows and some awesome braids, I live in the area and was a walk in, from my first experience I was so pleased! staff was so friendly and even though I did not have an appointment they went out of their way to accommodate me, I even met the owner on my first visit (she came to check if everything was going ok). I should however note that this business is new and they are not adequately staffed so there is some confusion with regards to scheduling and appointments. Critical: Professionalism, ValueThe first time I ever attempted to come here was a complete disaster. I had left my house 30 min earlier to ensure I would get to the appointment early, and still got stuck in major traffic that was going to make me 10 minutes late. I had texted the receptionist that I would be arriving a little later, and she told me that unfortunately the lash technician Lisi cannot do my lashes.I had called them and told them that I would be there in 10 minutes, and that it doesn’t make sense. And they told me that they still could not do my lashes. I was completely taken back and upset. I was stuck in traffic that seemed never ending, and was looking forward to getting my lashes done. I decided to still show up to the salon in hopes they would provide me with my service that I paid a deposit for. I made it to the salon earlier than expected, I was exactly 7 minutes late. I showed up, and the owner Lisi spoke to me herself and told me that she doesn’t want to do my lashes anymore and to leave. I asked if I could at least get my deposit back and she said no. I couldn’t believe someone who owns an establishment could be so unkind. She proceeded to walk away from me and she walked to the back of the salon ignoring any of my further questions. I have never been so upset and embarrassed. I was a new client and I am a woman of color. I ask myself everyday if I was turned away because of the color of my skin.
