I wasn’t going to make a review but I feel like if I do I will save someone’s hair I’ve been coming here for years when I use to get perms. I now have natural hair of 6-7 years. I wanted to come here to get my hair straightened for the first time in a long time for New Year’s. Before I even did my hair I asked how much it would be to the head lady of the shop, she told me it would be $40 for a wash and set and cut. I have shoulder length hair when my hair is curly. But when you straighten it out it’s past my shoulders not too much. As one of the ladies were washing my hair they were really ripping out my hair with their comb. When I asked her can she be gentle she said “sorry mommy I need to get the knots out”. The same lady that washed my hair also blew out my hair, she was very rough with my hair and I looked down on the floor and a lot of my hair was on the floor I asked the lady is that my hair‼️she said no. Weird because there was no hair there before so it definitely was my hair. As she was blowing out my hair all I smelled was fire….. at that moment I should’ve just got up and left‼️ But I really wanted my hair to be straight so I continue. When my hair was finished blowing out my hair was super thin and I wanted to cry. On top of that the $40 charge came up to $60 I told the lady that’s not what you said when I got there and I asked you before hand. Moral of the story is I’m never coming back here again and if you love your hair do not go here either‼️‼️ ♀️( P.S my hair has been so badly heat damaged every time I wash my hair I get chunks of hair falling out)

I see that some ladies have put not to go there if they have natural hair. I believe u shouldn’t go there PERIOD! I don’t have curly hair, but I swear these ladies are right. The lady that washed my hair is sooooo rough! The owner or whatever she is was unprofessional. She didn’t know what she was doing and neither did any of the other ladies. It seemed that one was new and I have to say that she really wanted to help give me what I wanted, which she eventually did, with my help. Cus the other ladies were like, “I know what she wants” and didn’t know anything. I swear I wish I read these reviews cause I would’ve never went here. They’re product didn’t even have a smell. Normally when u leave the salon ur hair smells good. NO! It didn’t have any smell. I honestly could’ve done my hair myself, but I needed my ends cut that’s the only reason why I went there.

Come to this place if you just want a wash and set. DO NOT come here if you want to dye your hair. I asked for a balayage and even showed the lady a picture. I should have known from her technique that my hair was going to look horrible. She divided my hair in 4 sections and continue by covering the ENTIRE bottom part of my hair in the dye. When I saw the wet result I wanted to lose my mind. I even asked her if I would have a visible line and she said no. I continue to get in the dryer for approximately an hour. After my hair was dry, I lost it and asked for it to be cut or fully dye it black. The lady had the audacity to say that I wanted highlights. Balayage and highlights are not the same thing! She clearly had no idea what she was doing. It wouldn’t even be considered an ombré.

If you have natural hair do not go here. After years of caring for my own hair & only getting protective styles I decided to get a blow out from the salon a few weeks ago. My hair looked great but when I would brush it I noticed my hair was breaking & so did my regular stylist. I just washed my hair at home like I always do & detangling it CLUMPS of my hair are just coming right out. I run a wide tooth come through & there is so much hair falling out. My hair texture feels different. It is stringy & my curls are damaged. If I could give zero stars I would.

A few days after getting my hair done at this salon, I washed my hair and a lot of my hair broke off due to how aggressive they were doing my hair during the detangling and blow drying process. I also had to keep redirecting them not to detangle my hair from root to tip as If my hair was bone straight. It was also very unsanitary with flies everywhere! I wanna start by saying if I could give them 0 stars I would. IF YOU’RE BLACK PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE. They are way too rough and do not take the time to detangle your hair. The old lady was literally ripping my hair out as she was washing it. And then when it was time for me to get my blowout they put no heat protectant and they were very rough, they put KERATIN IN MY HAIR. They also thought I couldn’t understand them talking about me in Spanish but I did. Overall, it was a waste of time and money. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Go to ppl that are licensed and look like us.

I’m giving this salon 1 star becouse I have no choice… I walk in and I should’ve asked before I sat down how much it would be for shape up wash and dry… my hair is extremely short (2 to 3 inches long right side top – left side is shaved)… so for a quick trim with the clippers wash n dry I was charged $50… what’s worst is the he looked so uncomfortable telling me the price and I herd him like 3 times telling the owner over the phone that my hair was super short and he only dryer the side! NEVER AGAIN
