I am self employed and I have a studio suite space out of Salons by JC. Curly hair is my passion and my specialty. I embraced this specialty a few years back focusing my education, training and extra time to learn as much as I can about curls, wavy and coily hair. My mission is to help you learn to fall in love with your curls.

Why did it take me 40+ years to find out there are stylists that train & specialize in Curly hair!! What an experience to actually be excited to get my hair cut! Over the years I’ve had some awful experiences getting my hair cut – even a simple trim would come out uneven. Tina is WONDERFUL! She is extremely knowledgeable, talented, kind and funny! Her best trait is that she genuinely cares and she wants her clients to feel good about themselves! I didn’t know exactly what I wanted so I described what I didn’t like about my hair and she went to work! After my relaxing shampoo and cut, Tina dried my hair and styled it in a way that I never have! I walked out of the salon relaxed & feeling pretty ♥️

I started my curly girl journey about 4 years ago. First going the Deva Curl/ Curly Girl method route. Then during the height of the pandemic and out of boredom/ insanity I decided to bleach my hair and do fun colors. However it destroyed my curls. I was having problems restoring them. Doing research I stumbled upon Rezo cuts and was amazed! I found Tina was trained in this method and the rest is history! She is so educated on what you need to do to get your hair right. And if you stick to it you’ll start to see life go back into your hair. Plus you’ll have a good time while you’re in her chair. I’m forever grateful for what she’s done to get my hair healthy again and I’m seeing my curls come back!

Learned a lot about my curly/wavy hair in an hour consultation visit. Tina did an assessment of my hair (VERY dry) and walked me through the basics of caring for my hair as she did shampoo, conditioning, use of leave in products with demonstration of clumping, drying etc. I have a LOT yet to learn about embracing and caring for my curly hair. Plus she sold small travel sizes of products used so I can try them without huge investment.
