Critical: Professionalism, QualityIt’s been about a year since I’ve used Diamond. I just prefer to go to Yukon. I was in a time crunch and decided to try them again. Firstly the owner was rude about me not using a local business. He was also very rude to the girl at the front desk. She quoted a lady a 30 minute wait time(which was probably about accurate) and she decided she didn’t want to wait so he ate her out in front of everyone for not telling the lady 15 minutes. It’s been a 8 days since I got my nails done(dip on my natural nails) $55.00 and 6/10 of my nails are broken. It’s been about a year since I’ve used Diamond. I just prefer to go to Yukon. I was in a time crunch and decided to try them again. Firstly the owner was rude about me not using a local business. He was also very rude to the girl at the front desk. She quoted a lady a 30 minute wait time(which was probably about accurate) and she decided she didn’t want to wait so he ate her out in front of everyone for not telling the lady 15 minutes. Critical: Quality, ValueI got my nails done on Oct 6. It is now Oct 8 and my nails began lifting the day after getting them done. Plus my cuticle were not cut so my thumb is being pulled apart. I have gotten my nails done many times and have never had them start to come off this soon. When I went in the tech told me that there is no refund for services but they could redo them for me. I don’t think it’s worth the time or money to have them redo them when they have started to deteriorate this soon. Definitely won’t be going back and will be telling everyone I know that you will have to go back do to the poor quality.Service: Dip powderI got my nails done on Oct 6. I got my nails done on Oct 6. It is now Oct 8 and my nails began lifting the day after getting them done. Plus my cuticle were not cut so my thumb is being pulled apart. I have gotten my nails done many times and have never had them start to come off this soon. When I went in the tech told me that there is no refund for services but they could redo them for me. I’m not one to normally write reviews, but this place is extremely hit or miss for me. I have friends who swear by this place, but not me. I went with one of those friends and her nails turned out beautiful, mine not so much. I got mine dipped, which I had gotten done there 2 weeks ago with no issues. They did not do a good job at all on my feet they didn’t even look like they were touched and when I was getting my pedicure a roach crawled onto my leg. Yes, you read that right. A roach crawled on my leg. Hi said something and then try to act like it was from me when I know damn well it was not. I will not go back. The lady seemed in a hurry and didn’t really trim/shape my toenails nor scrubbed my feet.. I understand everyone has different experiences but the fact that the owner was being rude to her employees that were not her ethnicity did not sit right with me. I did not have a very good experience here at Diamond Salon. From the moment I walked in, the owner was being rude to her employees. The young lady at the front was the nicest person there. The lady who did my pedi was rough when she massaged my legs, it hurt. The hot towels that they place on your legs, did not smell good.
