Once again, a fabulous cut and color from my stylist, Ruth! I have been going to Ruth for some time now, and I love her new “home,” Di Moda. The salon is trendy and upbeat, and I appreciate the warm welcome when I enter. All of the stylists are positive and professional and I love the vibe and location in downtown Burlington. As a professional, I appreciate Ruth’s ability to recommend styles and color changes that are subtle and current – I continually receive compliments about my hair. I was looking for a good hairdresser for 6 long years in Vermont from time to time. I tried several salons without any luck…. Only once I had a good haircut, but the girl left her salon and I could not find her any more. After I had several bad experiences I found Ellie Trono in Di Moda Salon. First of all I liked very much she does not stop learning and goes to take classes in NY City and other big cities. The second thing what I liked about her was the way she looked on the photo from Di Moda Salon website. It looked promising to me. When I made an appointment and met her personally I was very pleased to see a beautiful smiling woman with a nice hairdo. She listened carefully all my wishes and fixed perfectly my horrible haircut what I got couple weeks ago in some other place. I must say to fix somebody’s mistakes is not easy always. And she completed this task beautifully! Also she gave me very helpful advises about shampoo and masks. My haircut is great and I feel very good about it! Dear Ellie, thank you very much. I will have my next haircut only from you!

They are so unprofessional, gossip and talk behind clients back. It is not good. I can even hear what they talked about. If you want to do this job , you should be nice and don’t judge people like that. You got a really bad behavior. I’m not going to step in there again, waste my money and my time seeing unprofessional like you. Ellie is FABULOUS and I just cannot say enough good things about her, her styling abilities, and her salon. I moved to VT from near Chicago two years ago and after getting several awful haircuts in the area, I found Ellie and she is AWESOME. She magically transformed a botch-job into a fantastic style. I am generally very picky about my hair and she far exceeded my expectations! I highly recommend her to ANYONE wanting a fabulous style and/or color. Not to mention, her salon is relaxing and chic. I loved my experience there, and I WILL be going back for as long as I live in VT (or surrounding states for that matter). Truly, she is a hair artist.
