I originally go to the mint hill location but due to a schedule conflict they were able to get me in to the Indian trail location because they had a cancellation. When I first came in they didn’t speak. No smiles. They told me they didn’t see my name on the schedule. So instead of calling the mint hill location to see what happened or how we could resolve this , I had to call myself. The lady with the short black curly hair had an attitude. And coming from a receptionist myself don’t make people feel like they shouldn’t even be in the building. I wanted to cancel but lord knows I needed this appointment. Wasn’t warm welcoming and overall a bad experience .won’t ever go to this location again. Be blessed

If you are looking for great doctors, friendly staff and overall awesome experience, look no further! The Dr’s and PA’ are knowledgeable and spend time explaining procedures and treatment plans. Our whole family comes to this practice and we have all experienced great patient care. There is never any wait time, you can often find an appointment same week or even same day if you’re lucky! So happy to of found a dermatology practice that we love to visit!!

I highly recommend the doctors and team at Dermatology Care of Charlotte – Indian Trail. Recently I had some skin spots and concerns over if they needed to be treated. The team was very knowledgeable, professional and treated me with a great deal of care. They are fantastic.

I am shocked by the bad reviews. I guess I am finally a lucky one (usually have bad luck with Drs). I see Mary Cummings PA for my acne and even referred my husband to her for annual skin checks. She’s awesome!! Takes the time to actually hear you and talk treatment options. Genuinely cares about you as a person. Also never had issues with the front desk staff

This review is based on today’s experience only. I had an appt (made 6 weeks ago) for an annual body scan. Today I went in and gave her my updated BCBS card and she said we were out of network now and that she would need to charge out of network fees. Why in the world would you not get current insurance info when making the appt? Seems like you could sort all this out much earlier.

self-pay. came in for a consult and i was offered treatment. I asked the price then agreed to the procedure. I paid the price I was quoted BEFORE agreeing to treatment. 2 days later I get a call demanding more money, because I was misquoted. I asked the price before hand, I agreed to THAT price… I will not be returning for continuing care. Holding your clients accountable for your screwups is bad business, poor ethics. However, the doctor I saw was very good, so I’ll give an extra star.

I went in to see Dr. Jocelyn H. LaRocque this morning and i wasn’t very happy when i left! The Nurse did more, talked more, listened more, and explained more to me. The doctor came in for about 2 minutes , never once even touched my face . She glanced at my back & chest & immediately prescribed me 2 types of medicine for my “acne” . She asked me when did i start getting acne & why am i just now seeing somebody about it. When i told her why ( which is bc my sister found an awesome online dermatologist that prescribes your medicine specifically for you by sending in tons of pictures of your acne, and speaking over the phone & now her face looks fantastic) the laughed at me ! Every time she asked me a question , as i answered it she would completely cut me off. I felt like she barely gave me a chance to even talk . AND THENNNN i get to CVS to pick up my prescription & the lady at the dermatologist office had given the wrong birthdate for me so I’m unable to get my prescription I guess in 3 months I’ll follow up with another doctor in hopes of finding somebody better that might actually listen to what i have to say and spend more then 3 minutes in the room !
