I’ve always been happy with the haircut I received from anyone at this barber shop, but recently I worked with Abraham Martinez and he did such an incredible job I felt it warranted an online review. Abraham is an extremely personable guy who is passionate about his craft. You can tell he he really cares about you as a client, and the results are a direct reflection of that. The first time he cut my hair was 2 days prior to being a groomsman in one of my best friends weddings, and I got compliments the whole day on that hair cut. 2 weeks later I had a formal charity event to attend and my girlfriend specifically requested I contact Abraham because she knew how good I looked after the first time, and he delivered again. He even squeezed me into his scheduled with only an hour notice, because that’s the type of work ethic and care for his clients he has. Abraham is a young man with limitless potential in this industry. With his personality, focus, and eagerness to learn and keep growing as a barber, I truly feel like the sky is the limit for this man. If you’re in the area, even if you already have a barber, I would absolutely recommend reaching out to Abraham for your next haircut.

I’ve been going to this shop since they first opened. Every experience has been a great one, hence why I haven’t left. Frankie has always understood and done exactly what I asked for and even suggested cuts that were top notch! He always ensures that I am happy with my cut before I leave the chair. The prices are that of a quality cut; therefore, are fair. Gratuity is not included. While paying, there’s an option to choose the gratuity amount or enter a custom amount. If anybody in town were to ask me where to go for a haircut, I would highly recommend Department of Barbers.

Got a great cut and beard shaping by Andrew. Shop talk was crazy, I won’t lie it made me a little uncomfortable considering young kids and teens were present. Even with this said, I will be going back. UPDATE…I have been back several times and I still get perfect haircuts. The staff is growing as is the business. The shop talk has changed and it is a comfortable environment for everyone. Great job growing your business Frankie.

I’m not going to lie they do a good job but felt like it was definitely overpriced. I went in 3 weeks ago to get a bald fade trim the top do a lineup of my beard and neckline and the whole nine yards took 45 minutes did not mind paying the $30 but to go back and just have a quick touch up of my hair took 10 minutes and no lineup of my beard to pay $30 plus the gratuity 10% and a $2 debit card charge to come out to almost $40 I think is a little bit overpriced and expensive. I went to barber school and also worked for a barbershop and we did $15 for a haircut in 10 for a beard trimming like you just said it isn’t based upon the amount of time a person puts into cutting your hair it is based on what you are getting done so again if I would have known that I was going to be charged the same amount I would have had him just go ahead and do the whole nine yards and do my beard as well again I never said that you guys don’t do a good job and I kept it very short and simple but since you said I wanted to ramble on I will come back on here and give you my completed opinion that you should have the prices on a board for how much a haircut is going to be how much a beard trimming is going to be and if it is the same price as getting just your haircut as it is getting the full nine yards and I think anybody would say that they would have that person do the whole nine yards over just getting a touch up if you were going to pay that kind of money that’s all I was trying to say.
