The atmosphere was fantastic and Luke was awesome to chat with while I waited for Jason to trim my beard. I overheard Clint with another customer and he seemed pretty cool too. My expectations were very high from everything I’d heard about De Nolf’s. Unfortunately I left very disappointed in my experience with Jason, despite getting a pretty good cut.

These guys are a true master of their craft. If you’re looking to try out a new barber give these guys a shot. I’ve had Nathaniel cut my hair and I can say they truly do take an attention to detail kind of approach when cutting. The atmosphere there is also very calming and relaxed and makes you feel at home. If you love the old historical rustic things, you’ll love this shop.

Nathaniel the apprentice did a great job, took his time, and asked for help where needed. Think it’s awesome the shop gives people the opportunity to get hands on training in such a great atmosphere. Other barbers in the shop did some killer cuts while I was in there, and you can tell the regulars always come back. Stopped in last minute- if the apprentice is in, you may get lucky like I did with a walk-in. Nathaniel the apprentice did a great job, took his time, and asked for help where needed. As a women with short hair, I was a little scared of going into a barbershop for the first time, but I’ve been here twice with two different barbers and they do an amazing job. I’m not the best with hair and am not able to articulate what I want well, but both times they were able to achieve a haircut that genuinely made me happy.
