We are independently owned nail salon in Evanston downtown. Our mission is bring excellent quality of service to the customers and maintain clean relaxing environment at the same time. The owners have more than 18 yrs of experience in the nail/beauty industry and have created successful nail salons including UB Nails in lake forest, Wow Spa Nails in Barrington, UB Spa Nails (not currently owned) in Glenview.

I called for an appointment at 2 pm. They have availability at 6:30. 30 minutes from closing knowing I wanted fullest. The first problem was they didn’t have hollow. I realize this is a place with basic colors. The lady was rushing very fast. When she asked me how big I wanted my nails she cut it a little shorter than I would have wanted. When I started measuring size she said she’ll do that, but just looked over it she didn’t put my fingers together to make sure. Had to redo my pinky 3 times cuz she would just guess kind of where I wanted it and wouldn’t ask me. Rubbed the first clear coat on. She made my nails all types of sizes. I had to tell her if she could file more of my thumb middle finger index finger at the end I just didn’t care that they were all different types of sizes i just wanted to go. We stayed till 8 she rushed for nothing. 2 days after getting my nails done they started breaking off. It’s been seven days now and I’m left with 7 nails. Never going back not even for my money. ( In the picture you’ll see my middle fingers are different sizes you could tell more in real life. My index finger broke real stupid so I had to file it down. And you could just tell how thinly she coated it cuz she wanted to leave.)

Been here a few times with good experiences. Not happy with most recent provider named Pam. I felt very rushed, and the pressure she applied to my nails caused discomfort. Extremely unfriendly and felt rushed. I’ll try this place once more, however Pam is NOT recommended!! Manicure

2 hours for an uneven, crooked gel manicure. My manicurist also had a bad attitude and kept poking me. I had to file my own nails in front of her.
