Family run business where the ladies all enjoy what they do for a living. Several times I had been there, they’ve always given a client the time to listen to what the client wants and will give them a great haircut, perm, coloring, etc. Men love going there too. Everyone who leaves there are always smiling. What I also appreciate is how clean this place is. Nothing is left on the floor. All hair is swept up and mixing bowls and gloves are put away after they’re finished with the hair coloring, straightening, curling, etc, process.

Great service! Took my two kids and my mother there today. The kids were so happy with their new cuts and the lovely conversations they had with their stylists, and my mom told me that this is the best cut she has had in years. Highly recommend it for everyone! My family and I will be back.

Patty and Carissa are amazing. My wife and I moved to this area about three years ago, and I have been disappointed with every barber/salon I’ve tried. Their place is clean, I got a great haircut, and they obviously care about their customers. When I mentioned to them that my infant son has special needs and had never had his hair cut, they offered to come to our house to help. Well, they just came by on their day off to give him his first trim. Their salon is a shining example of how small businesses should be run–with pride and genuine care for their customers. I can’t recommend them enough. Thanks ladies!

Recently move to Holmdel and was in search of a good hair place. Cutting edge is great group of lady’s. Angela runs the show I believe but mom and her sister are good stylists as well. Great atmosphere always happy to see you and even when it’s a packed house, which is most days they still seem cool under pressure. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a new salon to go to.

I moved into the area about 3 years ago and have tried a lot of places that did NOT know how to cut hair or color. I came here and that’s it for me. I have found my forever Hair Salon. Both Carissa and Patty just make you feel so at home. So easy to talk to besides being amazing hairstylists and colorists. I highly recommend Cutting Edge in Matawan. They know their stuff!!!
