I have been going to Currie for about 15 years now and could not recommend it more highly. Grace gives the best short haircuts ever. Believe me, I know. A bad haircut can really be a hit to your self esteem. I always walk out of Currie feeling like I look great! I have also enjoyed the facials and massage and waxing from time to time.

I have mixed feelings about this place. It’s a nice High End place. I’ve had at least 5 or 6 haircuts here by different stylists. Most of them were good but I didn’t like my last haircut and it was the most expensive one i paid ($100). So I expected it to be perfect. I had long hair, asked for a 3 inch trim and a LITTLE LAYERS, they cut off 4 inches and added too many layers and thinned out my hair too much. It looks Thinner & Shorter than I wanted.

I tried to exclusively use Currie Glen Mills as my primary salon. One time I arrived for an appointment early Saturday morning, waited 30 minutes to find out my stylist was a no-show. Another time in November, I was called one hour ahead cancel because my stylist was afraid to drive in the snow. Twice since then, I’ve had same day cancellations after juggling kids schedules and work. Never offered anything other than, “Sorry, I’m just making the calls…”

This is an upscale salon with upscale prices to match. I was happy with my hair and makeup and also my daughter’s hair, but I do think their prices are way more than they should be. Between my 12 year oldest hair, my hair and my makeup I paid $320 plus a generous tip. I think that’s ridiculous! I was very happy with everything except the prices!
