The whole staff did a wonderful job with my cut! I cut off a ton of hair to donate. Missy and James worked with my hair to maximize my donation and then afterward went through each individual curl to make sure the pieces worked together. Overall I’m super happy with my new cut and would definitely recommend this salon for anyone with curly hair in the Atlanta area. The price is VERY reasonable for a Deva cut ($90 + tip) and the salon itself is very cute and welcoming. The staff here loves what they do and do a great job at it.

Not only does everyone clearly love what they do, which creates such a positive environment, but they all do an amazing job! I always leave here feeling absolutely incredible. Anything is possible at CurlEnvy! I started transitioning last year and my hair was BUSTED. I’ve literally never seen my hair in its natural state. My family relaxed my hair at 4 yrs old and never even get my hair a chance. I went to Jennifer my first time and she did the best she could do with what she had. I had endless straight pieces everywhere on my head and Unrepairable heat damage then. She told me to give my hair some time and come back for another cut. Fast forward a year later, I came back and was seen by James. I was prepared to have to chop it all off and start from scratch. James recommended he cut around my hair and shape it and see how it comes out. BOY, I was not prepared for how great my hair looked. It’s not perfect yet, because I’m still transitioning but it looks so good! Literally night and day. I have never been able to manage my hair until now. For the first time in my life, I love and am super proud of my natural curls. I’m excited to see what’s next in my hair journey.

My initial experience at curl envy was more than disappointing. I reached out and let them know I was not happy with my haircut/style. Shawn brought me in within the next few days and saved my hair. I was so upset thinking my curls were permanently damaged, but now they look better than they did before. I will definitely go back here, I will just be more selective about which stylists I book with. Shawn and James were incredible to work with.

Both my daughter and I have been clients at the original Devachon in NYC since 2000. Moving to Atlanta, we found a salon with great stylists, but I decided to end it when the salon raised their prices. The new rate was over $500 for a cut and color. After a lot of research, my daughter found Curl Envy, and I can honestly say that my hair has never looked better (and at a rate that was far below what the other salon was charging me). As a 67 year old woman, my hair now has volume and fabulous grey curls. We were welcomed by Shaun with our first call to make an appointment and James is an artist. We will definitely return, love them both. So happy to have settled in with wonderful stylists who are also amazing people.

BEST HAIRCUTS EVER!!! Didi Henry is the most wonderful curly hair magician!!! My haircuts always last and look great even after weeks of my cut!! I have short curly hair which is SO hard to find someone to cut not only curly hair but short as well!!! She is a UNICORN!! Book with her and you will not be disappointed!!

Best haircut experience I have ever had! I finally feel like I found my hair place!!! Jennifer was amazing! Very kind and patient throughout the entire experience. I will recommend this salon to every curly haired person for the rest of my life (lol). As a person with curly hair, I always leave feeling disappointed or just content but I am super thankful I have found a place that leaves me feeling happy and excited after a haircut!
