The prices are very reasonable and with a $10 or $13 shape up it’s definitely one of the best barber shops in the DMV. Its in this nice mall too with other stores to go when you’re done. Small size Baber shop for the location and Very unprofessional. There are many two decent barbers the rest behave as if this is their basement shop. One barber has his own personal (higher) price that is different from the listed (high) price. You won’t know till he’s done cutting your hair. Then, he’ll tell you his personal price. When he tells you, he’ll tell you with intimidation as if you should know or else. Just crazy. I’ve been there about 4 times due to it being in my community and trying to give the business a chance and every time I’m not happy with the service. They are nonchalant, long wait (due to slacking), nothing outstanding about the cuts (mediocre at best) and high price (gauging) for no reason. We’ve found a better operated business, just wish a better one pops up.

General: This barber shop is full of great barbers and great energy. I’ve heard that their rates are slightly higher than other places but in my opinion you largely pay for what you get and it is akin to shopping at Wegmans Food Markets versus Shifty Sal’s Seafood Grocery, & Sightseeing; if the latter is your thing then that’s fine but their prices are displayed everywhere and while there can be a wait sometimes that’s only if you don’t book with the barber before you come in as many of them are popular with their long-standing clients. I have been going to Mike Proctor for years now and I drive 30+ miles just to go there. Everything isn’t always about price as quality should be an equal marker.

Low wait times, good haircuts, they are probably that expensive because of their prime locations. They should inform customers of their $35 charge before they start. It’s just good practice to do so, there probably won’t be so many one stars

These barbers charge too much for haircuts. I went for a regular fade and Greg the barber charges me $42 for a fade and to trim my beard. He charged my $2 for using my card. I have never heard of such a charge. Well I learned my lesson. I will not be going to this barbershop again.
