Would highly recommend especially for active duty its right next to base never gotten a bad haircut here. So far everyone who has cut my hair has done an amazing job only thing i would change is there is one barber who consistently cuts my hair way shorter than i ask it seems as if they prefer my hair a certain way and disregard my wishes the haircut still looks good just not my preference and clearly not what i asked for.

This was my first time here and I will say they have a new customer for life. An absolute awesome experience. The atmosphere brought me back to my childhood when my dad would bring me to get a haircut, old chairs, good music, staff that stay true to themselves and stick up for what they believe in. This place loves America and service members and that alone sold me. Second, the staff was awesome. Prices are reasonable, And the last part that sold me was that the owner honestly answers all reviews.

Just got my haircut at Crown about an hour ago. Great atmosphere. My barber [Rose?] was great, very kind and definitely listened to me. So if I hadn’t come home to the screwed up mustache, as seen in the picture, the rating would definitely have a 4—strictly due to the price. I blame it on myself for not noticing at the barber shop when she handed me the mirror but I was looking more at the haircut itself.

Went today as a walk in with my wife. I’m a resident and physician of Coronado. I’m 66 yrs old. I ask the women ….kind of blonde tinted hair in her 50’s if I can wait with my wife and service animal…she exclaimed “ if it’s truly a service a service animal”. She examined the dog as my wife started to walk in, and she “exclaimed..that’s no service animal because it’s pulling on the leash” obviously she’s never heard on a SERVICE ANIMAL IN TRAINING. I TOLD HER THAT I COULD SHOW HER THE PROPER DOCUMENTS, which are required to have on hand, if anyone asks for them….she completely ignored me and said “I don’t have any time to read any document…..funny, she’s the one who essentially accused me and my wife of lying.

Great place! They need to be allowed to open up shop and continue providing their excellent service. Haircuts may not be considered “essential”, but they need to be able to keep their business going so the employees can pay their bills. At a minimum, let them operate outdoors. This is out of control!

I was referred here by a friend who used to live in Coronado. I obtained a same day appointment with Dan who did a great job! We had a great discussion about central Pennsylvania and he did an outstanding job on my hair. They also offer a military discount. Kids haircut is $20 and military rate is $13. Very happy and will return!
