My stylist Brittany was absolutely amazing! Not only did she listen to my wants and needs, she exceeded my expectations in every way!!! Brittany was professional and personable- she welcomed me into her chair and I feel like I gained a friend!!! My color was perfect, no bleeding foils or brassy tone to my platinum blonde. I recommend Brittany to my family and my closest friends. If you are looking to have your hair done, and your heart filled – come visit Brittany, she is amazing at her craft!

Booked an appointment 2 months out with Jess Lewis for a wedding I have coming up. Not only did she get the initial date wrong she has now canceled on me last minute in order for her to take a vacation and leaving me without ample time to book another hairdresser. Please stop attempting to bury my review. If half the effort was made into keeping my appointment as opposed to asking for good reviews (after the fact) then this would have never been an issue to begin with.

Extremely disappointed in this salon. I originally booked with Jim but a few days before my scheduled appointment he messaged me and let me know that he didn’t think he was a good fit for the cut that I was wanting. I greatly appreciate that being a previous stylist myself, I know that a lot of stylists won’t be honest about whether or not they are a good fit for achieving certain styles. Although I was disappointed that I wasn’t going to get my hair done on that Saturday (I’m expecting and my baby could come any day now so I was trying to get in as soon as possible) I took his recommendation for another stylist named Brittany that could create the look I was going for. I messaged her on Thursday and we set up an appointment for the following Wednesday at 3 pm. Wednesday comes around, I drive 25 minutes to the salon only for her to walk around the corner and rudely question who I was and what I was there for. I told her my name and that I was there for a haircut and she tells me “you’re not supposed to be here today” I replied and told her that she told me Wednesday at 3 pm and she insisted that she told me the following Wednesday (March 2nd) and told me to pull up our text conversation. Not surprisingly, the texts said “Wednesday at 3 pm” there was not a specific date that she mentioned, all she said was Wednesday. Anyone in their right mind would assume that she meant the next Wednesday on the calendar. She looked through her book and told me she had me down for Wednesday, March the 9th. I told her I couldn’t do that because I am supposed to have my baby any day now and all she said was sorry and sent me on my way. She didn’t try to work me in sooner or see if anyone that was already there could work me in. The fact that I got bailed on twice in a row is extremely irritating. I wasted my time when I could have already gotten my hair done somewhere else by someone just as talented and who treats their clients nicely. I wasted my time, gas, and a babysitter only to be treated unkindly and sent on my way. Don’t waste your time trying to get in with this salon, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else that will actually accommodate you.

I am shocked there are no reviews on this salon! Rick has been in business for years and has as his background a stylist to the stars. He is meticulous, does amazing color and cuts, and best of all, does natural human hair toppers for those with thinning hair loss. There are only a few places that offer this service, but, imho, Rick is the best! His staff is also very experienced and give strict attention to each client. I can’t say enough good about Creations in Middletown. They deserve 10 stars! And no, I am not being paid or rewarded in any way for this review.
