“No appointment needed” doesn’t seem to be truthful. I’ve tried to stop in to get my hair cut numerous times but, no matter what day or time I stop in, they always say “sorry, we’re fully booked for the next two days.” My schedule is too unpredictable to commit to an appointment, so I’ll continue to visit Fantastic Sam’s instead of this place. Fantastic Sam’s always make time for me no matter how busy they are, unlike this Cost Cutters location.

Always have had great service here. Experienced and friendly stylists who know what they’re doing and don’t butcher your haircut like other places in Winona. You need to book an appointment because they’re very popular but it’s worth it!

I was used as a hair cut model at the tech school. The gal did a good job but didn’t put layers in my hair or add bangs like we discussed the week earlier and didn’t have time to put them in since she was still testing so I went here to Cost Cutters. I told the young gal to leave the length, all I wanted was bangs and layers. I told her literally I wanted a basic “90°angle”cut, add bangs and leave the length which was just barely past my shoulders. She did such a huge hack job on me that I was in tears. I wanted to be able to wash and go without fussing with my hair everyday. I had to spend $30 more to have a REAL PROFESSIONAL try to fix the front sides of my hair so I didn’t look like I have dogs ears hanging at the sides of my face! I now have about 2 inches for length(professional stylist did not cut anymore off the back), had to buy a blow dryer and product, just to get it to look ok.

I have a stylist there I always go to. Her name is Lena. U would reccomend her. Lena is great, she has cut down on hours so today I had Jessie do my hair. After having a horrible experience next door at Serendipity salon I made the decision to cut my losses and not let her try to make my 85.00 investment right at Serendipity salon. Thank God I didnt!!
