Cosmo Nails’ owner, Michelle Yi, bought out Best Nails & Hair that had been at the location for eight months in March 2019. After the entire remodeling of it, she opened her second nail salon Cosmo Nails on April 2019. Before Best Nails & Hair, there had been Best Nails for 16 years. Michelle is an NJ & NY licensed aesthetician and has been running Riju Nails & Spa at 1100 South Ave. W., Westfield NJ since 2008 very successfully. Riju Nails & Spa became not only one of the most favorite places to go in the town but also one of the most popular nail spas in Union County. We are proudly announcing that Cosmo Nails and Riju Nails in Westfield are sister-nail salons under the same ownership and management of Michelle Yi.

Nice salon. Dropped in (called ahead while in my car) for a manicure as I was heading in that direction to pick up one of my kids. First time here. Manicure was well done by Jennifer. Salon is more spacious than it seems from outside. Staff is friendly. This is definitely a great back up to my usual salon.

The employees here are nice enough but the quality of what you get for what you pay doesn’t match up. They are very expensive,unorganized and a little lazy. If you must get your nails done in NJ I recommend Attraction nails. My gel mani lasted 4 weeks from there. Didn’t even last a week from Cosmo. 5 days actually. Reason being is the nail tech filed the seal at the tip of my nail after the gel manicure was finished. Why???Also uses an electric file to get the old gel polish off which really ruins the natural nail. Smh…

The salon is spotless and has a bery attentive staff! i got a manicure and a regular pedicure, and i am incredibly pleased with both. the nail technician, Michelle, paid attention to every detail and ensured my manicures and pedicures were perfect. Highly recommend it as i think this is one of the beat nail salons in Westfield.

This is the best gel manicure in the area–I’ve had several manicures here and it never chips. Even after three weeks. All of the manicurists here are very nice and take their time. The salon is clean and quiet. The photo with the blue nail polish is how my manicure looked AFTER two weeks.

While the salon is very clean and the staff is extremely friendly this has to have been the worst acrylic fill manicure I have ever had. Not only did it cost $105 on all is said and done but then the very next day one of my nails broke and another one cracked. I went back to the salon to have them fix the one nail and the one that was cracked she just painted over it with glitter so that you didn’t see the crack anymore. I am now going on day four and 3 more nails broke.

Saying that the pedicure I got there this week was Mediocre is being generous The good… The place was clean, and they kept the appointment I made. The bad… The woman who did my pedicure just couldn’t be bothered. A regular $29 pedicure got my toenails clipped, with a nail file run over them (they ended up being fairly crooked), two light swipes with the callous foot file thingy, a few taps on my ankles for the “massage” and then polish. Along the way there was that passive-aggressive pushing and pulling of your feet into the water, off the little ledge. That kind of thing. It was just a complete waste of my time & money. & My feet look not much better than when I went in. There are so many local places, try somewhere else.
