Chelsea has always been amazing. She has colored my hair during my journey 3 times. She always explains each service, and the process and cares about the health of my hair. She always ask for feedback, if something needs to be changed, and overall provides the best experiences. If its something im wanting to recereate something she tries to get it close as possible. I have extremely thick hair besides having locs, she’s never complained, and I’ve had experiences where stylist have complained. She truly cares about her work and taking her time. I appreciate her for providing full service and quality customer service during this time. Chelsea suite is my hair home. If you thinking about it do it!

I rate it this low, first, because I expected a follow up regarding the leave in conditioner I was owed from my first appointment, which Chelsea forgot about and tried to make me pay for at the end of the service. Second, the service of a re-twist and rope style took 5 hours to complete and Chelsea two strand twist my hair while retwisting, so that should have expedited the appointment, however it did not. Chelsea made the comment that her long nails feel like it is making her slower, in my opinion why get long nails if it impacts your client service. Chelsea also added she did tooling and loc repairs. I was aware there was some tooling needed to clean up my shafts, however she mentioned in the previous appointment it should not be needed as much in the next appointment. Chelsea did loc repairs without telling me she was combing locs, instead she said, “did you not hear me when I was using the tool”. I would have liked to have known she was combining locs. I let her know I saw last appointment you twisted two locs together and I could see why, however explain this first, that would be more professional. If you combine locs let the client know, period. Then, after 4 hours she explains that the service took longer due to her combing locs, that I was not aware of. We still had an hour to go, which she stated would be 30 min but it was not. This was after she returned from the restroom the second time. I understand when you have gastrointestinal issues you have to go, no worries on that. But don’t tell me because my hair conditions and you combing locs made the service longer than normal. Also, never tell a client their locs are falling out and get an attitude when they get offend by your way of communicating. Listen more and speak less. If the client has to make a difficult, unexpected decision after sitting in your chair for 5 hours too long, you need to understand rushing and blaming them for a long service is not the best thing to do. Telling your client about a squeeze in appointment, who canceled the day before doesn’t matter to them. I was already late for my next appointment due to your unprofessional lack of communication, and personal issues. Fix the weak loc and not say I’ll do a temporary fix because you’re complaining of time. I’m already late and you said my loc was going to fall out. I also have never been to a professional and they could not get my scalp clean in a three wash process. Chelsea said she needs to use a scraping tool to get my scalp cleaned and it’s an extra charge. Very disappointed. I wish you well in the future. I won’t be back. (This review was added after sending a review to Chelsea’s email feedback. It appears she does not take feedback well. She responded in an unprofessional reply.) I hope this helps others not make the same mistake I made, using her for loc services.
