I am very disappointed with my experience today. I called and made an appointment a couple weeks ago for me and 2 of my friends to get our hair done. 1 cut, 2 color/cut. The appointment was initially for the 30th. I called Friday the 29th because my friend had something come up unexpectedly. We rescheduled for today the 3rd at 3. When I called to reschedule I had the discussion with Angel about my hair color and what I desired. I wanted galaxy hair. My hair is very thick and it is past my shoulders in length. I told Angel on the phone Friday that she would need like 6 tubes of just one color due to this. I sent her a picture of what I wanted and she said she did semi permanent. I’ve done semi before and it didn’t even last 3 weeks. I have the desire to keep my hair these colors for awhile so I said I wanted permanent color. I also wanted more purple with other colors weaved in. She said her fashion color service starts at $300. I’m not paying that much just to have it wash out quickly. When I get to the salon and it’s my turn, she starts pulling out boxes of color and only has 1 tube of purple, 1 tube of lilac, 4 tubes of blue, and some pink. They were all semi. She told me that’s all she had and that she just wasn’t well prepared. I said I wanted more purple and permanent. I know my hair, and I had this discussion with her already. She offered the idea for my friend to go get the color from her beauty supplier or for me to come back another day. No, I already took time off of work for today. My friend shouldn’t have to go get any supplies. Angel lightened the rest of my hair and did my roots so that I could get to Sally’s and get the colors I want to do it myself. I still spent over $200 (i was told that was with discount) today at the salon for the color I got and the lightener that she did on my friend. I am very disappointed in the service or lack thereof that I received today. I was very clear about my desires and I was very open about my hairs texture and thickness. I have never left a salon with so much anger. I won’t return and I hope this review is read by others before they decide to make an appointment.

First of all, they did offer to fix the orange in the front of my hair for free and I declined because of the fear that my hair would go from bad to worse. This is hands down the worst balayage attempt I’ve ever seen from a professional. There’s no transitions in the hair; there’s harsh lines haphazardly painted throughout. Some sections have bleach on the roots but gaps under it that were untouched. There’s large gaps where no bleach was used at all. And the most noticeable is the several front sections that did not process enough and are now orange. The top most layer of hair looks passable when curled but if the hair is moved even slightly these patchy yellow/orange parts are visible and impossible to miss. Would not recommend going here at all to see Kierstin. I had asked for a refund since I will need to have a color correction done on my entire head, not just “one inch of hair that wasn’t right.” She denied the request saying she would fix the front part, but if the front looked anything like the back after I couldn’t risk it.

I called Thursday afternoon and was able to get an appointment that Saturday. Everyone I spoke with at the salon was very helpful and my stylist Kayla was great to work with. She listened to exactly what I wanted and explained every step as we went along so we both knew it was right. I am thrilled my experience and will definitely be a returning customer.

Angel Lineberry has been doing my hair for years & I wouldn’t dare go anywhere else. She’s professional & is awesome at what she does. She will work with you to get you in when it’s convenient for you. There’s been times when I wasn’t sure what I wanted done & I would tell her to just do something. Never left disappointed. She’s one of the most hardworking people that I’ve ever known & her love of doing hair shows in everything she does.
