Coastal Styling Studio is the newest upscale salon studio to hit Northern Suffolk in the heart of Hampton Roads. Our location is on the second story of 5911 Harbour View Blvd at the Riverfront Shoppes. We consider ourselves to be a hidden gem in Suffolk being that we are exclusively tucked away upstairs. Our clients enjoy a more intimate atmosphere and we serve them on a “by appointment only” basis. Our artists are highly trained and up to date with the latest trends and techniques. We specialize in hair coloring, blonding, balayage, foilyage, color melting, hair extensions, and bridal work. After already serving our current clientele in Hampton Roads for over the past decade, we are confident in our work and have the experience to back it

This is based on 2 different haircuts for people in my family over 3 days. First, my son had his haircut, no wash from stylist, his hair was sprayed down atleast. I told the stylist, I wasn’t picky but wanted him to have a “style”. The haircut was the fastest one he has ever had less than 30 mins. He came to get me and it looked like a shorter version of what we started with no style. Paid 30 plus tip. Later on found several missed hairs and she could have shaved his neck. So fast forward 2 days when hubs has hair cut. I had told him I wasn’t really happy and maybe he should cancel. He arrived going for the best, he has thick curly hair that he has cut for a business professional look every 2 months, no wash for his hair, no spray to wet it down, he said dry cut wispy hairs kept falling into his eyes,irritating them. He hates the cut, it’s actually a little uneven hardly any style, didn’t fix to any degree and left $40 with tip later. Once again fastest haircut he’s ever had. Two not good haircuts with same stylist in a few days. IF we ever go back we would never use that stylist again and I’d kinda like to try someone else, but really hard to want to support a business that would staff such a mediocre stylist. Disappointed.
