Vicki and her staff are the most kind and personable people I’ve ever had the pleasure of giving my business to. They truly put their customers above all else. They go above and beyond to make sure your experience and your nails are perfect for you. It is also the cleanest nail salons I’ve been to. I switched over to Champlain mail from another salon and will not be leaving Champlain nails. Vicki and her staff has a customer for life from me.

I’ve tried a lot of nail salons in the area, and Champlain is my favorite by far! Vicki is so kind and accommodating – I’ve been here a few times now, but she was able to get me in for a gel manicure last minute on Sunday. What she didn’t know is that I had just gotten engaged, and was so excited to have my nails done to show off my ring. I was in and out in 30 minutes, and my nails were perfect, as usual.

Friendly staff. Although the technician that did my manicure seemed attentive to details, a couple nails had a little rough edge that was missed. Gel polish was applied and I loved the color but… strangely enough, the color has changed and I have no idea why??!! I was in the car traveling the next day and noticed that the color seemed different. It’s as if the original color I picked is only on the tips of the nails now and an orange color covers the rest. It’s so strange. I really don’t understand how that can happen. I unfortunately don’t like the color now. See on pictures attached.

Very disappointed in my experience yesterday. I am visiting in town and thought I would treat my mom and I to a pampering experience and get our nails done. She wanted a simple manicure with regular polish and he gave her gel instead and had to remove that. He then cut her nails much shorter than she very clearly requested. He then hurt her when doing her cuticles so much that he had to wipe blood away as she was bleeding on at least 3 fingers. She was very unhappy with the experience. I went in for dipping powder and came away with sharp places all over my now very uneven nails and they aren’t even shaped consistently on each finger. Some are rounded and some are flat. My fingers are hurting this morning and there is crust underneath several of my nails that keeps peeling away. Very disappointed and will never recommend. In addition, we didn’t feel very confident in the lack of cleanliness. A towel was not used for under my hands, my mom’s towel was dirty and the tools used on both of our hands did not appear to be clean. I don’t usually post reviews but we picked this place based on a 4.9 review status and that was definitely not our experience.

Worst nail job I have ever had, went in for normal manicure with French nail polish, he kept trying to do gels nails and he cut my cuticles so bad that they were bleeding and are very sore. I would never recommend this place ever, this gentleman definitely did not know what he was doing, the worst job anyone could have polished them better. Also he cut my nails way shorter then I requested!

I absolutely love this place! The staff are so nice and fun. They did an amazing job on my nails and I think they look better than the picture I showed them. The only note I would have is that the polish is a little sheer but other than that there amazing! Definitely will be coming back here and I highly recommend it. (Henna by Parvin Pothiawala)
