I have naturally curly hair which needs to be dried and styled a little differently. I had my hair cut by Toni Marie and she was very open to hearing what needed to be done to reactivate my curls. Because of that this was the first time I walked out of a salon with happy, frizz free curls. I love the cut, too. The salon was relaxing and all the ladies there were very nice and welcoming.

I’ve never posted a bad review for a salon before, but this one is well deserved. I understand humans make mistakes, but the fashion in which the error was dealt with is just inexcusable. I went in for a routine color, once washed, my hair was bright red, completely awful. No apologies given. The hairdresser tried to “fix” it, it turned out worse. She said “I know that it’s not exactly what you were looking for…” It was humiliating. What is even worse, the other women in the salon were saying that it looked fine. Through tears running down my face, I said that I wasn’t going to pay since i looked like a joke, they didn’t hesitate in agreeing. i was headed out of town and booked an appointment at a salon to fix my hair. The stylist was shocked that a professional did that to my hair. I called Catherine John’s salon for my color formula so the new stylist could understand what I was going for originally.
