Sara is excellent at what she does! I was excited to find a stylist who takes the time to consult with her clients prior to coloring my hair and provided product recommendations to achieve great results. She listened attentively and made excellent recommendations all while making me feel very comfortable. I could not be happier with the cut and color I received from her.

Positive: Cleanliness, Professionalism, QualityTuesday was my first time getting my hair done by Sara, she came highly recommended by our mutual friend Lauren, who also works in the beauty industry. I am hesitant, as a stylist myself, to get my hair done by anyone new, especially with already disclosing that I also do hair, but let me tell you Lauren did not disappoint by recommending Sara! Her private space was aesthetically pleasing and CLEAN! She stayed masked the whole time and she made me feel very safe. She listened to my needs and we discussed my hair goals + products and she listened to me talk her ear off (sorry Sara! I appreciate you!) Approaching my 30th this was such a nice treat! I left feeling + looking amazing and she made me feel like a real client, instead of a stylist just getting her hair done. I was so happy with my cut + style that I immediately booked my next cut, I am actually looking forward to the grow out phase of my hair now, instead of dreading it like usual! Tuesday was my first time getting my hair done by Sara, she came highly recommended by our mutual friend Lauren, who also works in the beauty industry. I am hesitant, as a stylist myself, to get my hair done by anyone new, especially with already disclosing that I also do hair, but let me tell you Lauren did not disappoint by recommending Sara! I’ve trusted Sara with my hair for the past three years and it has never looked better! She makes excellent recommendations for color, styling, and home care. I tend to have a hard time explaining what I want when I’m looking to change things up, but Sara always does an amazing job understanding just what I’m looking for and making suggestions based on her years of experience. She’s the first stylist that’s ever done a consultation with me, and really inquired about the end goal for my hair. I’ve seen such a drastic improvement in my hair since i’ve been seeing her. Next thing you know Covid hit, the whole world shut down, and I did what every person does at least once in their lives, the big NO NO that every hair stylist will tell you…..I decided to let my cousin dye my hair with a color from the beauty store. Needless to say, I learned my lesson and fast forward to March 2021. I walk into Canvas Hair Boutique crying for help! My hair was damaged, dead, multiple colors, dull, basically a HOT MESS express walking in that door. Little did Sara or myself know, that she is stuck with me now. We chopped off a substantial amount, did a two step color process that finished with a demi permanent color to make it all blend, and we started this long 6-8 month process to get me where I at least need to be. I have now seen Sara for three visits and my hair is healthy, my fullness has come back, and it just keeps growing. I always joke about not being the professional, so I need all the help I can get. Sara gave me a routine, she suggested a few products, not to just have me spend money, but because she knew it would be beneficial, and let me tell you, she was 100% correct. She has worked amazing magic, and I am so happy and excited to see what she decides to do in the future. It’s just hair right?! All I know is as long as I am sitting in her chair, I am in the best hands!
