I went in for a walk in appointment a week ago and was really excited by the wide variety of color choices but a lot of them required a $20 charge which would be okay if what I paid was reasonable. To jump to the chase, it seemed like my dip powder was used incorrectly making the glitter color opaque rather than transparent like the sample. Because of the incorrect use the man seemed to be impatient with waiting for the glitter to dry and only went over my nails twice when I’ve never had less than 3, usually 4. Additionally the tips he glued to my nail were far too large and glued to my skin, the almond shape is crooked on multiple nails, my pointer finger broke today (photo) and started bleeding from picking up a notebook in a biology lab creating a hazard, and now layers of the powder are chipping off (photo). I am never one to complain but I paid $55 for this service when I don’t think I should’ve been asked for $15. A week later and I’m not sure what to do because I don’t want to spend the money somewhere else and have the same thing happen.

I saw your response to my review – i was NOT a walk in – I called and made an appointment for 5:15 – I NEVER agreed to have my nails drilled down to remove the ANC. I went to this establishment a day ago to have my ANC removed and get a manicure. I wanted it done right away and my normal manicurist was out of town. First, they drilled off the top of the ANC before wrapping the nails. The girl then wrapped the nails and sent me to a young man to finish the service. He did not let the remover do its job. He was extremely rushed and pulled off the wraps and literally drilled the ANC off my nails. He then rushed through every single step, I was done in 20 minutes. The hand massage was 15 seconds at most. The manager was basically sitting there doing nothing and she would give him every single customer that walked in meaning he had to rush to keep up. One customer asked her why she wasn’t going to do her nails and she said she had an appointment but clearly did not. I will never return to this establishment, the service was rushed and extremely poor.

My usual nail tech cancelled last minute. Went to my backup in Latham that starts with a V and they were rude. I was sent to Cali Nails by a girl at my tanning place. The employee there was unbelievably polite and extremely accommodating. I’m definitely going back! Probably this Thursday. The girl that did my nails I believe her name was Na. Wonderful job! Clean establishment.

I had a simple manicure. The woman who did my nails spoke to another woman there the entire time, speaking in another language I could not understand, sometimes giggling and pointing to me. They were rude. They must have known they were rude. I have been there a few times but now will not return. Customer service at its worst.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Over an hour and a half for just a manicure. My nails beds were rough after not being properly fixed post acrylic removal and not fully polished at all. The tops of my nails were not painted.
